I've been using this phone for 5 YEARS. Had a couple of software troubles, but to fix them, you just had to update the firmware. Or reset to factory settings. (Flash it if you fail.)
Also, it tends to get warm after having a lengthy call. Maybe it's because of the battery, but who knows, I haven't really checked.
It's a good phone. It can stand up from quite a beating, since mine fell in floodwater a couple of times and a good blow drying keeps it alive. Also, a friend of mine played catch with it a couple of times, the screen may be thrashed but the phone still works.
