Just got my 7230. So far I am pleased with the performance! Screen is nice and bright, speaker is plenty loud, call quality is typical Nokia excellence.
Great build quality, though a soft rubber touch back plate would have been preferable, no dealbreaker.
Feels good in the hand and looks excellent. Cheap too!
Adds up to being more than the sum of its parts.

just got one, seems very nice, fast and camera is just ok ( could be better).
screen is very good for 256kb color
sound is good enough
internet speed ( 3g speed ) is awsome =))
lower keypad for texting is very soft and good but upper part is litle hard but still good enough
slide mechanism is very good, i think they used magnets on this one no strings
for this price its very good phone with good quality
it says here 100 euro but goes up to 130-140 euros
and it is worth it i think so far..

Simon, 12 Apr 2010Does the slide wobble? Is it loose? Does the phone creak?No wobble on the slide but the phone does creak a bit when you use the keypad. The creak comes from the back of the camera which is only a push fit. I'll prbably put in something to stop the creak. Build quality overall is very good.... except for the back plate.

Overall its far better than 6303..cos I had 6303 and change to 7230 no regret

has 5 volume bars, even if you choose the loudest one the quality of sound isn't a bit bad.
I luv the 2.4 inches screen, the display looks really good but as for sharpness, if you're referring to photo it sure has its limitation. The display sharpness is excellent.

Just got it 2 days ago and I can tell u it's one of the best S40 phones ever!!
U'll hold it and keep staring it whole day. The battery stood up pretty well to average use or even more than that. The only thing disappoints me a little is the quality of picture taken in indoor. Still, I didn't regret at all buying it.
