I am thinking about buying this phone on ebay, but I am alittle worried because if it freezes or doesn't work well like everyone says I'm screwed.

I just recently got this phone and i love it. I was comparing it to my friends Moto V3 and i think this is way better (especially in terms of memory). Sms and dialing does take a bit of time but you get use to it. Definately a head-turner and the hottest phone around.

i love it. true, sms takes a bit longer (so does entering new phonenumbers) but other then that its great. pics are great (even when transferred to a laptop they look good), voicerecorder collects up to 3 minutes of sound, mp3, etc... and its a good conversation-starter.

          DON'T even think about it!!!!
I bought mine 4 weeks ago and only used about 4 days all together because this is my THIRD 7280 already. Still not working probably, need to change it AGAIN.

This would have to be the worst phone ive ever purchased - Previously a "Nokia Technician' i thought Nokia were the best... I have a had it replaced under the ELF process due to dropping calls and resetting. 2 Weeks later the same fault occured again on the new phone - all they offer is to take my phone and fix it - (i'd fix it myself though i need the technical jig to analise it. So i send it away, Leaving me without a phone for 1 and half weeks. I got it back yesterday... same fault! (Oh goodie) DONT BUY IT - unless Nokia give you a written notice that they will give you 2months to test it out. Regards, One Very Unhappy customer!!

Phone has some draw backs to it, like freezing during calls. and the lack of number dailing is some what of a bummer. If you have a too slow of a computer you really cant store numbers too well. Any questions please e-mail me.

I brought the 7280 about a week ago and love it. But after using bluetooth the phone froze and now when i switch it on makes a clicking noise and switches off by itself. Any ideas on what to do would be much appreciated.

                          Thanks

I tried more than 4 of this type of phones in my local retail store, none of them support Cingular service. The bar never showed up, no reception whatsoever...

Love the phone. The design and I can deal with not having a keyboard.

BUT, my phone constantly freezes while receiving and making phone calls. Maybe I got a lemon, but regardless, not a good impression after having spent so much money.

On of the greatest phones I've ever owned.
Don't know how to shoot a video thow.

Does not record video, but only plays them. Not tried which types yet though...

Another thing I discovered...you know those automated phone calls, press 1 for blah, press 2 for blah...well, its a bit fiddly. You need to select Options, then numbers before you scroll and select the number so plan ahead, aarff.
