Hi, thanks, yeh i've seen 1 or 2 nokia 7390 on the uk market, but they're on contract and I prefer the phone as a pay as you go. I seen quite cheap sim free ones from plemix.com or hi-mobile.net but I don't know if I can trust them.

Jen , this phone is available from Vodafone in uk. I dont know about anywhere else.

Ofcourse it wont work, how the hell can the phone zoom while it is in focus?

My 7390 has 2 bugs:
When using camera on mini display, try press shoot button briefly for some focus, then zoom in/out buttons will not work.
Can't use any video file as screen saver.
Anybody with similar problem?

i only used for sms & calling not music, the battery lasted about 3-4 days

you can buy direct from the nokia website or alot of the mobile shops on the net are selling this mobile, also look on ebay! i believe vodafone have this for sale in there shops on pay & go as well.
there is a strap groove, its on the back top left hand corner under the battery cover

Is this phone ever going to come out in uk? No carriers or shops have it or in the 'coming soon' sections of their websites, apart from carphone warehouse but that's been on 'coming soon' for months on end, I first heard about this phone before xmas!
I would get this phone sim free but it IS a tad bit expensive for what it is, now i'm considering going for the samsung u600/u700, but i'm a phone strapy charm person (quite a few on my s.e w800) and apparently no strap holes doh!

i got dis phone at its really cool! alot of memory but the video quality isnt gd but d camera is

Update: LOL, I think it is fate that I get the Nokia 7390 cause the SE W810i I bought was locked (the stupid store forgot told me they forgot to flash it before they sold it to me) and so I promptly returned it and exchanged it for the 7390 (I couldn't resist).
They had to special order it (probably from HK) so I won't receive it until sometime next week. So here's to hoping that all will go well with the reception =^.^=

Who said that this phone wont work in the US?
Tmobile use 1900==> work.
New cingular and AT&T now use 850==> work
Im using it with cingular now.

yes, there is no setting for the phone brightness......Pay attention to a small hole above front Camera, that's the light sensor that automatically adjust screen backlight, however it's not working well so the screen is a little bit dark...
Try this, blast that sensor with any source of light (flashlight, other phone's flash, etc), wait for a few second, and...VOILA, the screen turn out to be very shiny and colorfull...
The good thing is, when you are outdoor, screen are easily readable....

I'm so sad. I was really set on getting this phone but found out at the store that it is a phone made for Asia networks. It is Asia tri-band therefore no gsm network in Americas meaning if I were to buy the phone, I would have to suffer horrible horrible reception.
So I bought the Sony Ericsson W810i (white) instead. Somehow, I just don't feel satisfied. It's just sitting on my bed charging up right now...
I'm trying to comfort myself by telling myself that this phone is only a temp. to satisfy my need for a new phone (i desperately needed one) and that I'll buy a new hot phone at the end of the year.
I'm crossing my fingers that Nokia will come out with some new girl targeted phones soon this fall/winter!!

Roro,NOKIA 7390 is UI40,adjustable font size,etc&easier to use than N76 which isSymbian OS,which means smaller font size,smaller keyboarb,etc.Personnally,Ihave 7390&love it.Nseries have 2many problems:hanging,freezing of screen,etc.I had N80 previously.It all depends on what u will b using your phone for.

hey does the 7390 support visual radio?i checked out some sites, some said it has but some did say its not a feature of this phone. Also where can i buy a crystal case here in the philippines?i checked over the internet but the only site offering this is the ebay uk...
