SJ display doesnot rotate but u can view pix full screen so it shows on screen rectangular may b that is what it means by rotate.Camera doesnot rotate like some other models,phone is very good

when i miss call my phone rings and wont stop until i either pick it up or the caller would stop calling.
and in SMS, nokia displays a small pic of a letter above, in line with the time.

yes i know it says a missed call or 1 message, but i took the question to mean does it bleep to remind you like the samsung phones do, then the answer to that is no.
all mobiles will display the missed call or message logo but it don't remind you that you have a missed call does it!!!!

and nokia phones DO remind you when you miss a call. dont be such a know it all.
and when you miss a SMS, itll just display
"You have 1 message" ugh!

I Was going thru these opinions n stuff n notices that u know a lot about 7390.i also have a question for u.You wrote:

According to u u have assigned tones maybe that’s y the default one doesn’t come up.What if we don’t want assign and change theme then what?Secondly if we r in a silent mode would the phone start ringing if we change theme?
I mean only the tone changes not the setting like ringing beep once ascending etc.

Is there a reminder beep (like mototola razer) if you miss a call/alarm/message? How is the camera function compared to K800i?

The only good thing on this phone is the camera. Nothing else is good here as this phone is a java phone.It is not a PDA like the symbian phones, so you cant do anything else with this phone except phone, play music and take pictures. For the same price you can get Symbian. Then you have to be mad to go for this phone then.

Nokia 7390 is a good phone.. But this phone is a java phone. But here people all likes symbian phone. So nokia n70 n73 is much better option.

I've had this phone quite a while now and it's been brilliant to me. I havn't had any of these problems I've been reading about except maybe the battery doesn't last too long but apart from that it's good.
A few things maybe Nokia should think about:
-The 2nd camera! oh man it'd be great if you could use it normally
-In the samsung there is a converter 'thing' with weight, money, length and such things but the only converter on this is shoe and clothes sizes.
-I find that when i'm looking through photos the phone is a tad bit slow it takes a couple of seconds to get to the next photo
-As I mentioned before the battery runs down quickly
but there are good points though
-The camera is good
-The games are good
-The USB fits my mp3 USB cable
-It's a gorgeous phone!
-Everything else is fine
You might be put off by the disadvantages but don't be. It's a good phone and i'm so glad that I have it.
If you want this phone you should get it and don't be put off by the negative points people say.

Apart from my phone sometimes loses signal and "sim registration failed" comes up, my phone will be ok for 3-4days then last sunday its happened again but since sunday it has been working fine.

the main screen dims after a few seconds & there is no way to increase it, i have never had a mobile with this problem before

i did have problems with the reception as well. i had to turn off & on to increase the signal.
if yours is rejecting your sim, ask your service provider for a new sim with the same number & try that.

hey people m tottally confused.....i should buy this phne or not....can ny1 tell me tht its voice is gud than nokia N73???is it a gud phone coz i only care about voice nd camera nothin else.....
