i bought this phone last friday for PHP 16.4K. And I love it!
I'd like to ask if what phone has the same screen size as this, so I can buy a screen protector, and also what's the screen size of the outer screen...

hello nina, u sure u got ur hp for only 17K in megamall? i'm based here in HK & Nokia 7390 costs 3300HK$ . if it's cheaper in Manila, i'll just wait then till my vacation next month coz i'm contemplating to buy this unit next week.

for those who are thinking of getting this phone. there is a new color. of shiny black and silver.
check the nokia website.
i have the black and bronze version. need to update the software cos the dictionary doesnt seem to save the words i enter. but other than that its a great phone! every one around me says its beautiful!

I just got this phone in bronze and black two days ago free on my upgrade although the agent who sold the new contract lied it cost 549 i have got five more days to decide if i want it or not and i cant use it if i have to rturn it. my mates said it is crap but i think it looks nice pls advise

Of course you can take self portrait by turning the closed camera towards you. But how can you know you are in the frame, there is no mirror near the camera lens. Any possibility to use the small screen with the phone open, to see yourself in the small screen ?

i bought mine from the nokia shop because not everyone trusts internet sites and prefers to get them in hand. it cost me £300 though, but it's worth it.

Actually, you CAN take a Self portrait even if the camera is closed, when it's unflipped, I mean.
You can access three programs while your phone is closed... 1. Camera. 2. MP3 Player 3. Radio.
unfortunately, you can not read SMS on the Mini Screen nor make a Call or answer a call on the mini screen. And you can not change or edit the programs that can play in the Mini Screen. It's just those 3 that I've mentioned above.
The quality of the Image and video is very good as well. just remember to put them on the correct settings., on the highest even.

i bought this phone last week at Megamall for PHP 17k and i must say that it's really worth it.
though you have to check on the Nokia Dealer if they have the silver strap since some dealers sold them separately even though it's supposed to be part of the package.
it is dimmer than the more common Nokia models, but it isn't so much of a show stopper. It's just dimmer when you compare it, but on it alone, it's very tolerable.
i just noticede though that when my MP3 player have been playing non-stop for 2 hours, some of the songs jump, as if it was a pirated cd.
the 3MP camera is very nice.. :)and it also has a 10 second selftimer.
I bought the black bronze one since the powder white and pink looks soooo barbie-ish..
ive also tried the VGA camera for 3G calls, and it still gives out a clear image of you and the other party. not so much static (hmmmm.. perhaps it was because of the service provider)
it might take you some time (a day perhaps) to get used to the SMS format since it's different from the NSeries.
It also has flash message wherein your SMS message will instantly appear on the receiver's screen upon receipt. But I guess this is only available if the other party's phone recognizes flash messages.
hmmm what else... the Bluetooth, IR and USB cable makes your file transferring a breeze. The USB cable is not included in the package so you might want to buy one for yourself. Im actually using the USB cable of my friend's Blackberry.. hehe

My music player is now working after I turn it off and charge my 7390. When I open it, it is working.
I think if it happen again all i need to do is to turn it off and turn it back on.

I have this 7390 3 days ago. I bought this phone because it is good looking the mini screen outside, the 3Meg pixels, it has a unique design, the size is not too big and also not very expensive. Perfect for my preference.
My comment about this phone is that the music player is not playing. I was able to make it working only once and then the next time I tried to use it, it is not working. It wont play. Right now, I dont to know how to make it work.
Can anyone help me about my problem.
