my 7710 display only the nokia logo and reboot, i've tried formatting using the normal formatting key no respone. pls can any one tell me what to do. pls help thanks

hello fellow 7710 user, can somebody help. my 7710 can boot any more it only display the nokia welcome screen and went back countinusly, i've tried to format no response even with PC. pls help cos i'm miss part of my life. pls pls pls help

i m the main "tecnique" in the bigest nokia care point in my country what my coleges have to do it´s what we call a swap service of the mother-board. what happen to your phone was a fatal error in the sistem so the only way to repare it its the "swap". any doubt you can contact your nokia local line.

My 7710's screen went blank when tried to change SIM. Nokia care could not revive it. Did this occur to anyone? Any ideas on how I can get it working? - Venkat

Yes, you surely can use this set as GSM modem to surf internet from your PC/Laptop. I'm in Bangladesh. I used it and got very good performance. Just install the Nokia PC suite, then modem driver will be installed. Then you may have to write the AT command (I had to write).

I got this 7710 a month ago and I'm so happy. This is the best mobile phone ever !!. u have everything in 7710; from music, movies, internet, GPS, games, office work application etc etc.... too much to mentioned.... Love the phone....

After 4 years of using this bad boy i cant find replacement, this phone kicks a**, the only bad thing is not having wifi. But still after 4 years it will blow out of the water many many phones out today. Well we 7710 users had a touchscreen 4 years ago, something that is recently catching up. How about editing some exel or word documents hu??? How about smartmovie??

The 7710 has EDGE. When you use it on an EDGE enabled network you will notice the faster speed for example when running opera mini browser compared to non-EDGE networks. I have tried it out here in Uganda(You know where that is)and I noticed the difference.
But its not something that you go find in your phone and turn on. It automatically comes into use when the network is able to provide the service.
And one more thing that makes me love this phone to bits is that its got an undeniable "wow" factor. Everytime you pull it out of your pocket,somebody is going to be going"wow, is that one of the latest N series?"
Just last week a mate of mine came over form the UK and he had this sleek TOUCH SCREEN LG with three megapixel camera and real LED flash,however he was still blown away by the 771O. So all you 7710 lovers out there love from me. Mwah

Hi bro & sis. I'm using 7710 for over 6 moths. From GSMArena I found that it has EDGE capability. But I haven't found it in my set. I'm still browsing in GPRS, although my operator serving EDGE. Anybody knows whether this set really have EDGE? Is there any configuration needed for actaviting the EDGE? Plz help immediately.

I love this baby like anything. Unfortunately a fire incident soaked this phone in water and it went dead. I am trying my best to get it repaired. Even today, no phone in the market shines like this one. If this phone had a wi-fi it would have been even better.
Does anyone know any repair tips? The guy has managed to bring the phone to a point where it shows me only a white screen (no not the Nokia logo so I could format)

All you 7710 lovers I salute you, for you truly know what a great phone is. Unfortunately Nokia does not know what a great phone should be. I am still miffed at their decision not to follow up on the 7710 by making it better or giving it HSDPA Or UMTS so we can enjoy its widescreeen even bettter with 3G. You see I live in a Uganda, which according to a movie called "the hunting party" is in "darkest of Africa"..but forget it, we've got blackberry services and now also have 3G. I really want to partake of these services but my 7710 (i love this phone to death!) cannot allow me do that and I ahve been pretty distraught......UNTIL......UNTIL......UNTILL, SONYERICSSON put me out of my misery with the XPERIA X1 smartphone.
So all you 7710 lovers,who non the less wanted more from it so we could enjoy its widescreen more, all I can tell you is that the xperia x1 is what we have all been waiting for . Check out the sony ericsson website.

hi .. I have a question... my 7710 give's me an error when I try to change the folder in music player: "Memory full.Close some application and try again" ... what sould I do? :-??

Im using this phone for 2 years now. And its already a part of my life... It's really cool (watching movies, playing games and the surfing using a touchscreen is the best).
