Can I use this phone for GPS service? If Yes what do i need to use it as a GPS.

This phone can support 2 GB MMC, I m using.
And to browse the net, first u have to activate the GPRS/EDGE service from ur Service provider. Just go to their Customer support office.

i own 7710 from last 1 and a half year now its display stop working... i went to nokia care center they didnt help me to solve it out so if anybody can help me so do inform me ..........

Superb phone!
I use N91 8GB but I gotta say this phone is totally different from others.
It's music is really cool.
Web browsing is pleasure!!!!

hi there i wanna know which settings i put on xilisoft dvd converter in order to view dvd movies by tcpmp.and it should be around 200 to 300 mb maximam after converting . which profile i choose . my regrets to all users of this forum.

I am a new user of 7710, I have started enjoying it as a mini PC, but i know there are still some stuff i'll need to know about this phone. Friends and other users of the phone should please come to my aid........
How can i use this phone more effectivelly more so.......is it a must i use the loadspeaker for receiveing and makeing calls?............If there is any means of makeing calls without those ways listed above please tell me on any of the e-mail addresses; o_olatay@yahoo.com or stevetomydave@yahoo.com..................thanks pples........ I have owned my 7710 for almost 1 year. I love my phone, but recently the voicemail indicator stopped working. I have contacted my service provider and Nokia. Neither have been able to help. Also the feature that allows me to sent a text message when rejecting a call has stopped working. If anyone has any solutions for this, I would be very grateful.

One year has passed since I have purchased this device. I also posted in this site long ago.Though, my feedback was of very mixed type at that point of time.
Now, most importantly, what I would like to share with you all, I mean 7710 users, that please take a look at the following site which has been exclusively developed for NOKIA 7710. A veritable international open forum where you can get more than you expect from this device. Hi, I am still using 7710. This is my second one, which I have bought at 2005. I have lost the first one !!
I believe this is one of the best phones I have ever used. I have also used many other nokia models (and sony ericson).
Dont know why Nokia has discontinued this model. Just updated the firmware to 4.58 - the nokia service center at calcutta has charged Rs500 for that (though it is displayed in the service center that software upgradation charge is Rs150).
Anyway, I have found this one much better than the over hyped N series phones. These are the best features of the phone:
a. Large display and probably the first touch screen phone.
b. Internet surfing at its best. Not found such beautiful surfing experience in any other phones.
c. Handwritting recognition and on screen keyboard. I have agile messenger and I chat with my friends - in much faster speed than people do in keyboard.
d. The single mono speaker is excellent for listening musics (using 2GB card now). The Visual Radio is also excellent.
e. The mail options are excellent.
f. The alarm, to do and calender - dual time in clock, the preview of sms and mails, customised profile ....everything is excellent.
g. I play on line chess from my mobile at www.playchess.com. What else can you expect from your mobile?
h. I also use this as a storage drive.
i. The camera takes reasonably good photograph.
I am not interested about GPS as its not useful to have the same in a mobile - if required, I shall buy a seperate GPS device for my car. Also the map of Calcutta I have checked in N95 is not updated at all.
Also WIFI is not available in India in such a way. So I am not missing that part also.
Any body else still using 7710 now?
