to all who wants to use their mobile to pc as modem, go to your nokia pc suite and the click on the internet connection, settings and then u can surf the net in your pc as 7710 the modem. ok?

For Digitalgravel, I had the same problem before and this phone is like crack because I cant see myself with anyother phone. And I really want to do anything to get it working again. But my problem is far worse now it dosent turn on at all now. I dont know were you live but I live in the tri state area(n.j.) And got my phone fixed in queens. That was the cloest to me. Nokia told me about them. If your interested let me know Ill get the number there good.

I really like this phone, I broke one and bought another. The second on I bought there was something wrong with it. It wont turn on. I fixed it for almost 200 dollars. Same problem has happened again. I really need help does anyone know what I might be able to do.

guys, my nokia 7710 with sw ver 4.10 has definitely surpassed expectations in all round performance. great phone;for a chosen few. thinking of buying one? go ahead by all means..
now.... i've a question. guys, you need to help me with this. might sound silly though.
i've a bluetooth enabled pc at home and gprs activated 7710 too. how do i browse the net on the pc using the phone's gprs? alternately how do i use the phone's data cable to browse the web on the pc? pls help. my email id is praveen.jh@tata-aig.com. please help. thanks in advance...

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN PURCHASING THIS PHONE
I had it for one year and it no longer works for me. I live in the U.S. and I dont know where I can go to get it fixed. When u buy this phone there is no protection plan, service plan or anything of that nature. When I turn on my phone the Nokia sign comes on then the screen turns all white. It's curtains from there. I can't do anything with it but look at my phone and watch the screen in all white.
The phone is madd slow too. You have to turn it off and take out the battery. Then turn it on again. It's a headace.
The radio is tha shitt thou.
Internet is super slow.
Pictures are okay.
If anyone knows where I can get my phone fixed let me know.

Hey 7710 fans!
I own a 7710 for about two months now. Powerful features, awesome touchscreen, out-of-the world internet browsing experience on a mobilephone. On the flip side, system is a bit slow and unstable. Can't close applications easily!
Hey friends... i need help on this one. My 7710 is Gprs enabled, i browse with the phone, on the phone screen. Now, my home PC is bluetooth enabled too. How do i browse the web using the 7710's GPRS, but on the PC? Must be really simple with the bluetooth software on the PC or the USB cable connecting the phone to PC, but i'm not sure how to! Could be a communicator.It's for business class and for people in step with technology.Weight could be a problem because it's not a phone for "each day".

yes....7710 has a pop-port and we can connect it to pc via usb.
please guys..tell me about sound quality of 7710...is the sound of 7710 is better and louder then common s60 phones(6600,6630,6680,6681,6670,7610,3230) etc.
please tell me.its urgent

ey nice fone concidering it was released in 2004... i would just LOVE to see a 2006/2007 version with 3G or maybe a micro-drive? but i hope that if they make a new variant they will keep it in its sideways rectangular form... very stylish

older posts on this phone refer to the 7710 with oder firmware/software runing the phone if you are buying a new phone ensure it has the most up to date firmware as there are a few realy good improvements with it incuding up to 40percent increase in speed look for reviews of the firmware 4.10

I am planning to buy this phone so please suggest me whether it is worth buying or not coz i can see a mix response from users about this phone.
Apart from being slow does it have any other problems?? if yes then please tell me and help me out. If it is slow then how slow is it?? Does it hangs every now and then while on Calls Or while surfing Or playing a Multi-Media file?? Please Help.

this phone is just great. i have now aquired over 150 s90 progams and java progs designed for this phone. you can do more with the 7710
than most PDA's. i love the fact you can watch full dvd's one minute and play emulated sega genesis and gameboy advanced games the next. the basic features of this phone are all you need for a great user freindly experience. i have not had any problems with it so far and i have had it 10 months and im looking for another. admitidly ive spent a lot of money on programs but most others are freeware and there is more people developing progs just search google or yahoo for symbian forums and you will find developers websites, progs are usualy under $15/£8 and well worth it.... there is also a great stereo fm radio and tons of space for my mp3 colection just waiting for the mobile tv and then ill have the perfect phone

will all you people understand the manufacturer's point in making this phone?!!! they made this for premium media experience and for web surfing easeness. so you should only expect that this phone has its some tradeoffs for this advancements. or else if nokia place everything here, the series 60 platform sales will be affected! take into account that nokia will never create such perfect phone because they're also considering some marketing strategies...
anyway i really love the elephantine look of this phone. i've been using it for a 4 months and i'm satisfied with it. the only problem are the available third party softwares for this phone.
