There will surely be a lag while playing movies in full screen mode...smart movie s/w can play videos in full screen mode in 7710..but the partial screen mode itself is very clear and satisfactory...so why need full screen mode..partial screen mode is itself bigger than wat u view in Nokia 6600(full screen)..cheeeers!!

Hi! Just wanna know whether the nokia 7710 is able to play video files at full screen and whether it is laggy while doing that? I have owned a s700i because of its big screen but some how it play videos in just quarter of the screen size which make me kinda dissapointed!!

Is it possible to use the Nokia keypad with this phone? I dont like the touchscreen but like the features.

I am using a 512 mb card.i have the card memory and the phone memory fully loaded..Still doesnt hang..I dont face any problems at all..The screen is also excellent...It hangs when I try to download webpages like CNN...and other complex pages..otherwise the phone is excellent!!!

i've been using it for 1 month and i think its the best fone/pda (except for that pda IIs)
some drawbacks -
no 3rd party software availables
no themes(except 1 from company)
no games
"HANGS A LOT" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
no keypad
quite slow !!
holding position a bit awckward
rest all is 5 * cam excellent,speaker loud and clear,clearity - ultimate ,memory 120+90
but it fukin hangs a lot
i've occupied 121mb or 210 mb and it hangs
2-3 times a day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to be 'owned' by M$, get an I-mate.. (unless someone has managed to put linux on??)
symbian and nokia make the OS for the phone, not to boost their ego...
can anyone tell me yet, can you set different sounds for..

Hi all!
I been debating whether to get the 7710 cos it looks the dog's bollox or should i get the sony ericsson p910i??
Can someone please help me out which is better out of the 2 in terms of usability, MP3s, SMS messages, standby time, etc....???
It would me much appreciated!

7710 a great smartphone ! Much better then pda 2k.

Yes right said SCS, I have used P900/P910i, 7710 is very user friendly(like all nokias).
If u compare the features and usability of P910i with 7710, the nokia will surely come out at the top.
Even the price difference between both models is Rs. 10000/-.
P910i is higher and 7710 is 10000 rs. low.
This makes 7710 the best VFM phone-PDA combined device in todays market.
P910i and other SE devices(S700i,P900/P910i,K700i) are not worth the cost.
All SE phones are overprised(I dont say they r bad in anyway)
So go for 7710, its the best device available out there at the best cost to best features ratio.

Who said that this phone is not as good as P910i...I have used P910i for some period of time..Both are good in their own way...I am very happy with 7710!!!go for it!!cheers..

i agree with the other commet about dont buy this phone yes its good but no were near as good as the p910i i've bought both trust me its not to wat is expected from a highly priced pda for example the p910i,p900,spv m1000,i should no ive had them all

I'am really intersted in buying this phone,but are there really no games and applications available for this phone?I'am presently using a nokia 6600 and it's packed with downloaded themes,applications and ringtones.Please if anyone can help me..would really like to have the facility of downloading games and applications
