Nokia 8.1 gets April security patch in new update
HDM is issuing a new firmware update to the Nokia 8.1 in India and Poland (and possibly elsewhere), which brings stability improvements, user interface enhancements and the security patch for April.
The firmware, v2.59e, measures 238.3MB and is being seeded in India and Poland. Other markets will likely join the rollout in the following hours and days.
The Nokia 8.1 was released back in December as the global variant of the China-bound Nokia X7. It has a 6.18-inch 1080p IPS LCD, a dual camera on the rear, 20MP selfie snapper, Snapdragon 710 with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and a 3,500mAh battery.
