i had this phone before and the battery is pathetic!! if you are going to buy this phone,dont waste your time,as you will encounter endless problems. the styling is really beautiful but you will end up paying much more to repair the phone than to buy it. and my friend had the exact same phone btw...

Hei, i am quiet shocked to use nokia 8801, i am from bangladesh. my cell phone having band-width problem.. it cant run smoothly with the sim i use. network goes up and down. can any one tell me where can i fix this shityyy problemm..other than that...there is no doubt that, this is a handsome beast...

danzoi, 12 Aug 2008are you sure if i use sirrocco 6x bat. my phone will last u... morei am using nokia 8800 since 2006. i replaced the 5x battery with 6x and it last for 3 days!

kamal, 16 Jun 2008yes definitely u can chnged ur 5x bat to 6x bat of sirroccoare you sure if i use sirrocco 6x bat. my phone will last up to 2-3 days? coz i really like this model but bat. life is my big prob. thanks.

Manal, 05 Aug 2008Hi there I got this phone like when it first came it and it... moreNah, im not saying that I got it during a war, but the previous owner didnt really take care of it properly because the housing is scratched up, and I think he did not charge the batt properly because once i made a call the battery would just die out immediately. But after changing it to the sirocco batt, all is good and im going to use this phone for a super long time =)

the phone is so luxurious ive been using it for almost 3 years now its been the most perfect phone ever. its just like having a rolls royce classic in your hand. looks perfect for a man who does not need any gadgets just the essence of style of communicating. this is the coolest nokia 8 series you just cant compare a nokia 8800 classic to the new 8800 sapphire arte its just like comparing a classic rolls royce to the latest mercedes benz sclass the 2 are for luxury but one really makes a statement...

I just got the Nokia 8801 unlocked, 2 weeks ago. I'm haveing a hard time setting up the configuration for the MMS. Is this a recurring problem with this phone? Sad part about it is I work as a sales Rep for the service provider I'm trying to set the phone up with. Thanks

Overalli regret buying it.

Just got this phone 3 days ago, but i got it 2nd hand and I think the previous user went through a war with it. The battery ran flat every time i called someone and its scratched to hell. All I needed to do was to buy a new battery so I got the sirocco edition and its working brilliantly. Now all I need is a new housing which I am going to order now. =D

An old phone now been passed by by better models it is a very basic phone but this is not reflected in the phones original price but today you can pick up one in your local trader papers for around £50 to £70 and the lack of memory storage and the lack of memory in the phone itself has put many off this phone and the phone is no real use to men with large fingers as it will be easy to press other keys when texting etc and the sliding front makes this phone not very practical in everyday use and is under the metal case just another nokia from the origins of the series 40 range from a few years ago but the reported battery life of 190 hours is more like 3 days but even then it may go flat on you so spend your cash on better models and in todays credit crunch they are many to select from and prices are coming down every day so why not look at what you need from a phone first but if you want to make out you smoke cigars then this phone will do this for you as it does resemble a cigar case the standard nokia 6300 costing far far less does the same task as this but offers more for far less i class this phone as a nokia inovation from bits of other phones so i must assume they have x fiat workers employed there now

put a sirocco baterry man it fits and it's more powerfull it will last for 2 3 days

hy how are u? i just wanted to say that this is my favourite phone i lost it but i hope i'm gonna make some money to buy an other one, forget about the battery forget about the features, sirocco, arte those who have style buy a nokia 8800 simple it is so amazing when u hold it in youre hand.. oh i can;t wait get get me another one
