1) switch off the screensaver.
2) use as per normal, you'll be fine! trust me i have 2 of them.

thegoodman, 24 Nov 2009i'm planning to buy this phone but i'm not sure of the batt... moreI have this phone. When you have the right firmware on it (i believe 3.96 or later and you get the nokia 8800 sirocco battery it lasts 3 days with a few phonecalls/sms a day.

I had 8800 several months ago, it was just too shiny and i sold it. Months later, i saw 8800SE in a 2nd hand store but not in a good condition, Now i just bought a mint 8800SE with lifetimer 11Hr. got it around $260 in kaskus.us
there is a man who sell 8800 series (sirocco,gold,arte) in a really good condition, he does not sell a bad looking one. and he even has several bnib items

Battery performance *Really POOR, my car broke down at 2am, and I got stuck at the side of the road and needed to contact roadside assistance what luck the battery died as I was on hold to the Motor club. IF you have one of these best to get a mini charger or 2nd battery just in case (You don't wanna be in the same situation I was in).
