although the 8800 has a very nice design, nokia should improve highly, the camera features of all their handsets. this 8800 is not even i megapixel. cheap labour

this phone is NOT about funtionality ..its a fashion statememt- i like it--
ill wait untill it gets little more affordable or wait for 7 mega pixel
phone with zoom. which ever comes sooner..
i got an ipod n 5 mega pixel camera dont need it in my phone yet.
my current phone - 6100 and 6310i (the best phones in my view, mature technology,)

You think that the phone is great for fashion/showing off. Look at the memory, that wont keep the user happy very long. Mp3 player provided and good cam for low memory. How you going to save everything and keep it stylish?

Have you guys tried turning up the volume? My incoming volume was low also... until I turned it up. Now it's not any lower than any of my other previous phones...

My Nokia 6630 is somehow better that this 8800 in terms of its function & the camera & yet the 8800 is double the price of my 6630 which is SG$ 1589! That's crazy. I won't spend 1.5k on this type of phone. If it was for the N-Series perhaps I might consider about it.

My 6230i is more good than this phone and compare the price: 6230i:400$
8800: 800$

this is a real bad habit from NOKIA
this phone is a junk if u compare to N-series
NOKIA always use us,fans, as a experiment whether we will buy phone will price $800+ or not
then Nokia use it to set the price for N-series...
those who buy 8800. too bad

9500/8800 there's a huge difference between them but if all ur after is the basics + mp3 then go the 8800 but keep in mind that it hasn't got a huge amount of mem for mp3s. i don't know but i'm assuming that the 9500 would be more equip for space but might not do mp3s (not sure)
y did u buy the 9300 in the first place????
was there a reason?
chances r if it's anything to do with email or pda kinda stuff then stick with the 9500 series otherwise change to 8800
good luck hope i helped
