Hello Everybody I live in Bangladesh. I got this phone for only 89,500 Bangladeshi Taka, (or USD $1304.66 to be exact), Made in Korea with One full year warranty. I think thats much more cheaper than the units sold in any other parts of the world. You may think that I am talking about the Nokia 8800 Arte (the black one). But No, I am talking about this one the 8800 Arte Sapphire (Brown).

      That's so sweet =)

I'm at work right now and this happens to be the only website that isn't blocked so yeah I think i'll stay here thanks.

I'm entitled to my opinion just like everyone else. There are better phones out there that are classy and good value for money, not that I care about anyone else but these posts need to stay on topic after all.

I bought one: My company saw me with it, knew I was a man going places, and gave me an immediate promotion. Sometimes you got to spend money to make money. If I could do it over again, I'd try to pay more. ;-)

katsuwind, 31 May 2008well in SINGAPORE it is Selling at $2068 SD at the Nokia Sh... moreI'm sorry HOW much?!
            Oh really come on.
This phone has no features, it doesn't look that nice, it has nothing going for it.
The buttons are too tiny and the lack of specs are pathetic.

A classy sturdy phone can be found much cheaper than this.
If you can afford this phone please go feed some homeless and pay more taxes.

Please note I know i can't afford this phone nor would I spend the money on it if i had it. I am not jelous of it, it's a phone anyone who is jelous of a phone needs a life. I do wish I was rich however but not so i can buy this phone.

If you people are buying a phone for its functions buy a freakin smartphone or the N series, same stuff half the price. 8800 is a piece of art been using it since the first version came out. had nothin it in but i payed over 1.5 thousand us dollars. did i ask my question why i bought it for these money! well no!!! and i wont this time!! its worth it! and i am paying for style!! and for not seeing every second person with it. 3000 us for a phone. not that bad!! vertu for 20000 is worse.

It looked and feel good 1st time you touch it but after using it for 2months then I started asking myself that is't really worth such amount of money I paid for it?More to think about it,it's just another 8800 with a bit more. The really annoying thing is the leather really hard to keep cleaning and starts to fade a bit(use it all the time and sometime with wet hand),another thing is the reception not that good like we expected and the battery life is not long like we want(dying out after less than 2hrs talk).Still like my Sirocco/8600 Luna/etc...Well,asleast I didnt have to paid Usd 1600.00 for them when new.Hope this will help someone to make up their mind if thinking buying one, wished I get the Black Arte, for a lot less without any of the problems mentioned above.

i just have one concern about this phone and if someone who has it can answer it for me, that would be great. The leather touch is great, but will it be hard to clean if it gets dirty? And after a year or so, the leather will start to fade right? And it won't look as classy as it does. THe black arte however will always look bold and elegant.
