is it true it does not work well in the US because of triband as opposed to quadband? Please, if there is someone that can answer with a technical explanation it would be greatly appreciated.

for all the people who think its like a remote wait till you hold it in your hand i bought in india for 1400 us$ and its totally worth every penny.its a beutiful phone and beats vertu ascent in its looks if not for the brand very very amazing detailing i am very very satisfied they couldnt have made something better

Well i really like this phone...not every phone is 100%....sometimes u have to sacrifice few things to get something special..those who say that battery life is shit..small screen et etc they have to think that the phoe itself is stylish....so its good for those who want to have nice and stylish phones...forget about price...if u cant afford than dont buy....u can get cheap phones......

jsut bought this phone a coupla weeks ago...
it's absolutely great! total eye candy! even n95 users envy me. hahaha. to the haters, y'all are just jealous, cause you cant afford it. it's not about features and getting your moneys worth. it's about exclusivity. it's about spending your money on an overpriced phone, just because you can afford it. simple yet elegant. classic and expensive taste.

I just got a Nokia 8800 art sapphire. I love it and it would be great if Nokia can make it in Gold Color like Nokia 8800 Sinico.

for those people asking why this fone doesnt have memory slot is because all new 8*** fone have limited edition themes,tones &wallpaper that other fone dont have nokia did this to avoid piracy

I dont seem the point in purchasing these premium handset, the whole agender of getting them in the first place is that they are exclusive and made of high grade materials. However they are more popular than ever and loose value as there is always a updated version out shortly after being released! Never mind that fact you still have to pay for it on a contract, which you end up paying over £1000 for it over the period.
Your better off investing in a Vertu, they hold there value and look miles better!

I´m interesting in buying one of these beautiful phones. I own a 8800 Sirroco Edition for 18 months now and promised my girlfriend to change it only when it´s broken:D. Two days ago felt my phone from the secound floor but unfortunately is still woriking. But i´m still hopping!:D My question is: is the slide so perfect like 8800 sirroco edition´s one? thanks...
