Can Nokia explain why in the world they make this incredible looking equipment triband and not quadband? Any logical explanation?

holy crap forget the price its 1000 bucks i would drop 2 g'z for this phonei have the 8800, luna and sirocco but this is just a a step above

As usual a fine looking Nokia device as they say at Nokia flagship stores. But why limit to triband when quad is more appealing and provides superior performance? For instance my circle of friends all own Luna but all 16 of us wouldn't dare try the new one because AT&T formerly Cingular will fail coverage due to lack of the 4th band. Too bad that'll be 16 less units Nokia will sell. Wise-up Nokia!!

Looking at the specs you can tell that this is a far improved phone than 8800 Sirocco edition. It has a 3.2 mp camera and sleak design. Price range to be expected high (rough estimate 800-1000 USD)because 8800 series is a flagman amoung all Nokia models.

why does this not have a card slot. This is the only reason I may not be able to get this phone and I absolutely adore it.

Is it me or is the phone brown??? Who would want a brown phone?! It has no card slot, has a tacky piece of fake leather on the fron and looks to be top heavy as the slide starts really low down. Not as good looking as the sirroco but double the price. come on nokia, sort it out!

You want performance? Buy N95 or HTC or Toshiba. If you want expensive buy Vertu, If you want an extraordinary phone buy this one.
If want to be cool buy two one for performance,one for style. Oh and Vertu doesn't have place on this forum is too nice.

This is a suck phone. They only change the cover, and sell it with the highest price. Nothing change inside, and everything same as Nokia 8800. Don't buy it if you don't want to lose your money. Keep in mind "this is a suck phone" Be aware of this phone.

This is a suck phone. The price is super expensive, but nothing special. All function is regular. This is only for s.o, who is rich, and use only for call and text message.

please dont compare vertu to any conventional phone brands.Conventional brands consist of 35-40 moving parts in their device,but vertu phones have over 700 moving parts with exclusive and expensive materials.

And to the people moaning about no WLAN, flash etc, that isn't what they're trying to do with this handset! Everyone knows the 8-series nokias aren't feature full. I would put my morgage on the next 8-series put on this site, some idiot will be moaning, there's no WLAN, not flash, no ironing board etc etc....
Thats like moaning than my new (i wish) ferrari doesn't have the most comfitable seats etc...

this phone is just a waste of money rather stick with n95 more usefull then this expensive phone with out memory stick just loudsy 1gig memory. and cheap 3mp camera
