just bought a second hand 8910i in perfect mint condition. currently using a treo 650 which i am perfectly happy with all the features. After only 2 day of usage, Ive retire my Treo and very satisfied with 8910i albeit with no bell and whistle to sing off. this is what all phone should be. simplicity and elegance. Love it.

this is truly a masterpiece created by nokia. the nokia 8910i doesnt need a 3.15mp camera or over 200k colours in the screen to be cool! i have a mint condition one still nicely tucked in its box from many years ago! i admire its beauty everyday haha man its becoming an obsession.

Rabbit, this phone will not and will never work on US networks I'm sorry, you cannot find a way around this because trying to change the GSM bands in a phone is literally impossible and would permanently destroy the phone. It was built for European networks and other countries supporting GSM900/1800MHz, but unfortunately the US only has GSM1900MHz so this phone will not work.

Sorry mate :( Hope this helps.

How do you get this phone to work in the USA??? I'll do anything! lol, seriously though. I just bought one on ebay without 'doing my homework' and it turns out it will not work in the US because it's a GSM 900/1800 and the US is GSM 1900. Anyone know a way around this?

I just recently sold this phone, but it was very hard letting go because its been with me for more than 2 years and i remember paying a bomb for it and trading it with my then 8910. Now currently using 8800 which IMO better than the 8910i (obviously) anyway i kinda miss the darn thing still

This is a not-so-common model. I initially had a 8910 and then i switched to 8910i as i was addicted to this model. I'm still using this model and its been over 2 years+. In hollywood this model has been used and featured in movies acted by pierce brosnan, jack nicholson and jason statum.(You gotta watch closely). Now that explains the class of this model. I cant remember the movie names right now thou.

What can I say. I own 6630, N70 and now I have black 8910i. This thing rulz. No aditional stuff, that 99% people don't even know where to find them on the phone, not use it. Great phone & great design. I just dont know how to upload MIDI file. DAMN!

This phone is an absolute classic, being part of the Premium range of Nokia phones it had to be something special and the Titanium casing is a sure winner. The phone is still worth more than the curent top of the line Nokia's because of that. My 8910i is a sure keeper as it is such a classic and will remain so for years to come.

                                HI All,
this has been my dream-phone since the time i saw it , in Singapore in 2003, the only thing that kept me away was the price, coz i had just got my first job then, now 3 yr's fast forward i still plan on owning a brand new one, cmera is not my preference, but the thing is i am in USA, and would like to know if i would have any problems with it, would appreciate if people in US would respond to my query, I am with T-Mobile carrier service, so please advice.Awaiting responses.
