Nokia 8 photographed with benchmark results in latest leak

Enrique, 08 August 2017

We’ve seen Nokia 8 benchmark results leak recently and today we’re seeing a similar leak: blurry photos of the Nokia 8 with the benchmark results screen on them. The photos came from Chinese social media app WeChat.

First of all, the model number associated with this device is TA-1012, which is among the device model numbers listed in the previous AnTuTu leak: TA-1004, TA-1012, and TA-1052 are all associated with the Nokia 8.

Otherwise, we’ve seen the following specs before: Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, 4GB of RAM, and a QHD display. There’s no screen size, but we are given the pixels-per-inch. With this information, we can infer the Nokia 8 might feature a 5.25-inch (diagonal) display. The last leak mentioned a 5.3-inch display, so we can assume it’ll be between 5.2 and 5.3 inches.

We can’t really make out the phone given the horrible lighting conditions, but the device looks like the same one shown on Nokia’s Cat Day celebration video below.

We are expecting the Nokia 8 to be announced in London on August 16.

you can see the great build quality of Nokia6, so i don't worry about it. i only worry about the camera , just at the same level with S8, U11 is enough Screen may be IPS sadly, but it's not a bid deal if the price and quality is good

Yup. That's the whole point. HMD is, at the very least, keeping the Nokia's sturdiness, great functional design (those antennas), and their promise to maintain updates faster and consistent. Three things that usually overlooked by a lot of smartphone...
