ya... But the changes in nokia 9300i has not been up to my standard u see.. So i think that sooner or later, nokia will produce the 9500i, which i think should be the best, if the changes is acceptable :)

I don't think its time to replace 9500. I am happy with my 9500 communicator. Has anyone heard of something better than 9500 in the market? Pls. do let me know..

With a megapixel cam 9300i would compete head-on with 9500. Guess Nokia does not want that to happen, so no cam on this baby. Lack of vib a pointless oversight though. A Cool communicator nonetheless.

The first time I see this 9300i, I was so FASCINATED! but after looking thru again at the features.. I was let down bcuzthere is no camera!!! but Im ok wif the function of no vibration.. Thats wad I call business phone (a phone with no vibration). All the functions are acceptable to me, except tt very camera!!! where is the camera??? and I was satisfied with the capabilities to connect wirelessly.. Soo... i think I will have to wait for another communicator tt have the functions I need... (probably 9500i? :P)

Well, Most people regard this as Business Class Phone but it doesnt even have a Feature of Vibration not even in this 9300i wonder what this upgrade is for.. Vibration is Required if one is in a meeting or elsewhere I have 9500 and I Miss that Feature

come on striker, what sort of rubbish are you talking about.if businessmen dont need a camera on their phones, why did they mounted a cam on the 9500?are you sure you know about phones?9300i is small and it doesnt even have wifi and the price you pay can get you maybe an 02 which will satisfy your needs better.maybe a mini!if they dont need cams, why on the 02?

Zameer.....Its because its a business communications device aimed mainly at corporate users, the majority of which don't need or use a camera. Including a camera would inflate the price even further.

the reason why our telecommunication infrastructure in the Philippines could not evolve into UMTS network accomodating 3G technology is because our telco's are afraid of losing profits for only 20% of mobile users are capable of upgrading and subscribing to 3G technology.

the reason behind this is that customer preference on mobile technology is limited only to second hand dual band phones, single-band (e.g. 5110, 3210), monochrome display, and obsolete models mostly provided by NOKIA coming from 1st world country. Most customers in the Philippines are able to purchase modest phone packed with bundles of technology but due to limited stocks, customers are inclined to buy second hand phones by NOKIA. That's why Philippines is far behind in terms of Mobile technology. We may be the texting capital of the world thats because majority of Pinoy mobile users uses obsolete phones.

I'm abit optimistic that our telco infrastructure would improve next year 2006 because Samsung launched a market take-over campaign in the Philippines over taking Nokia and other companies by providing cutting edge technology that suits everybody's budget. Still we're faced with the cruel reality that we became the garbage bin of obsolete mobile phones and other obsolete technology. The idea of dumping old NOKIA phones in 3rd world countries like the Philippines is an idea that raises our eyebrows. They can flood the market with junk phones but Pinoy customers are smart buyers.

by the way don't you guys, users of NOKIA smartphones notice that everytime there's a new model it has the same Symbian features but different physical looks. they change the design put an "i" after the model code, it has the same symbian features and sell it twice the value of the previous model. Unlike samsung or sony ericsson every model has a distinct experience from the other models, but enables you to familiarize basic navigation through its features.

Course they can Sam, all the manufacturers could. But why would they put a dent in profits - Its only our childrens futures!?!?!?!?
