Anonymous, 25 Jan 2012can i use the music player for this phone while texting or ... moreyes, but the music player alone is the app you can actually minimize and continue playing music. other tasks you cant but a user said that you can have maximum of 3 tasks at the same time. he said you can play music and browse the net and text with the help of that dedicated messaging button. but i doubt it. the browser might just be suspended. but that sounds great though, s40 is on its way to somehow mulltitask.

Anonymous, 25 Jan 2012of course you can absolutely install a dictionary apps. on ... more.jar apps is fine but not .sis apps...this is an S40 phone. only java apps with .jar extension can run on this platform.
btw, one of these was sold and was the S40's 1.5 billionth phone.
i have an Android phone with 1GHz single core processor and my device is really smooth... now, except music player, s40 don't multitask and this one don't have high res camera or HD video recorder either. and the apps it runs are basic java apps only and this phone don't have graphic-extensive UI. isn't that 1GHz processor an overkill?

But there ar... moreof course you can absolutely install a dictionary apps. on your phone just visit 4shared.com for dozens of apps. including games. make sure you use .jar or .sis in every word you search for optimizing the content compatible for your phone :)

But there ar... moreMy dear, if you wanna use wlan activate it and it starts searching for available networks or hotspot make sure its not encrypted unless you know the password. when you engage to that network your phone automatically launches its built in browser asking you if you want to browse the internet right away. just make sure you chose wlan for browsing.

wat is the small hole infront of the above screen beside the word nokia??? i am wandering if this is just a style or a wat?? there is no indication in the manual if wat is that. does somebody also wandering wat is dat?
