      Anonymous, 18 Jan 2014can we use its LED light as a torch light?There is an app on the Nokia app store which will enable you to use the flash led as a torch.
      You can check all the supported apps for the Nokia 503 even when you do not have this phone on the Nokia app website.
      Just choose the Nokia 503 from the many available phones and than go on to search for apps on the app store. It will let you know if certain apps will work with the 503 or not.

        Santanu, 18 Jan 2014This phone are HD video support or not...pls friends tell m... moreI own the 503 and can tell you, that it does not support HD video recording with the built in camera lens.
        Viewing HD video on this phone does not make sense at all, because the resolution of the display is very low.
        The picture quality for photos is - let's say - okay for a phone in this price range. The video quality is okay as well, as long there is enough light. As soon it get's darker, you should forget about recording videos with this phone.
        The good thing is, that you can have all your emails etc. and messages, social contacts etc. up to date an with you all the time. And because the display is "cheap" and the processor is "slow" the battery will last you veeeeery long. No other smart phone holds the battery charge as long as this phone does. And that was important for me.
        For Mac users this phone is great as well, because you simply drag and drop all your contacts and ical events to the micro sd card and open them in the phone - and they are added to it. No other phone can do this!!

The voice sounds dark and misses clarity. Sounds below a certain sound level will not be recorded at all. And you can not adjust the level, actually there is nothing than a record, pause and stop button.

            Scare Ray, 17 Jan 2014please let me know if it support pdf file...Out of the package it does not support reading PDF files. But you can download two different apps from the Nokia store for reading PDF files. Please be aware, that I own the 503 but do not have the apps on my phone.

                      Guys, can you comment about the quality of the sound recording using this phone... I have been using nokia phones before this but the quality of the sound recording (using sound recorder) is very bad... This function is very important to me as I love to record my voice when I am singing for fun... If you guys know any budget smartphone from any brand that can produce good quality of sound recording, please suggest it to me... Thanks a lot guys!!!
