I bought the set in Pakistan and kept it in a Cloth Cover. Within 15 days the Back Cover started loosing its original of Silver and is now turning to Black. The shop-keeper is not ready to help me in this case and asks me to change the back cover. Wonder if this is the solution

And the phone specification says gprs but actually it's EDGE. And about the camera, What do you expect in such a low price? The 12mp camera of N8?It's a nice phone comparing to the price!

Strictly a pretty but no frills practical phone.
Pros: The color is gorgeous (red/silver), unit looks expensive, price dirt cheap, battery life lasted me 20 days without charging.
Cons: Dual band only. Wish it were at least tri band and it would be the best if it were on dual stand by dual sim.

we have phone stores here...
we are receiving a lot of concerns with nokia c1-01 ..
when transferring mp3 through bluetooth the message is empty, is it because of bluetooth 2.1?
and the music playlist too... it automatically remove your playlist and you need to update again..
need a software update ASAP

OK.But really not good,I buy just before 2 days, can't adjust the colour,brightness,contrast of mobile,only font colours can;for purpose of camera no use,u can use in day only & that is also outside for clearity.No speaker clearity for music and voice.Really upset with FM it does not catches the frequency clearly.There is no torch light which is common.I bought because of faith in Nokia but........May be these problems in my handset only.Low cost ,but not in competition with others.

No one can have any more bitter experience with this phone than I did I guess. Within 24 hours of buying this phone, I found that phone was in " hanged " state and it was just not responding by pressing any key. After restarting also, it hangs at the Date and Time setup screen itself. This is really unfortunate and pissing off as not even a day has passed and such a thing has happened, though I have been using Nokia handsets since past 10 years but never had any complaints till now. Hopefully a software upgrade should take care of this problem.

puneeth, 19 Feb 2011I'm using nokia c1-01 since 1 week the battery back up is t... morewhat do you mean by "battery too low" its a 1020 mAh battery in a S40 platform mobile... It has 10 hrs of talktime and 504 hrs of stand-by.. what more do you expect?

the battery BL-5C mentioned in the specifications is 800 mAh, but actually its 1020 mAh.

I bought a new c1-01. But when i connect the phone as a modem,after disconnecting d phone it always hangs!! Moreover i couldn't apply new theme.

First of all All the users pls see and think about my opinion.
Just another crap from nokia for 2499/-.
Disadvantages:-
Dual sim without dual stand by means u can't open both sim card at same time.
2nd
What a camera!
Shame on nokia at least 1.3mp should b there.
3rd
no edge means loading utube videos may be very difficult.
4th
Video quality is 128*96 pixel which is totaly wastage of camera.
5th
display is 65k colours.
Why we need 32 GB to store contents in this crap phone.
Go for N2690 which is better than this one.
