i think june fourth week started :)... better don trust nokia regarding launch date... they will take more time than the said due... they said tht they will launch nokia 1280 before march in india but still not available... tried in many nokia stores they don even know tht model exists!!! so better wait guys... thank u

[deleted post]Priya.. this phone will be available in india by june 3rd week... though its available in indoneshia and in UK its available only with vodafone connection though that phone is C3 stroke which has internal memory of 190 MB which is only for vodafone customers in UK.. as far as indian market is concerned it will be only available by june 3rd week with an expected price of 5799 with taxes..

People using the phone any idea on battery life and sound volume (esp ringtone volume)? Does this also have the push email like E-Series phones? Please reply I intend to buy this phone once it is launched in India. Thanks.

What a deal? Bought 2 Nokia C3 thru Vodafone pay-as-u go for both of my daughters. They loved it. Thanks Nokia for making great technology affordable.

erix, 22 Jun 2010can this phone multitaskNope dude.. this phone works on S40 OS which does't supports multi tasking.. the maximum u can do is listen to music in background and perform other activies but it can not run two applications at one time..

This is such a good phone at an amazing price.
10 times cheaper than Apple IPhone 4.

this phone has a good operating speed not slow at all.. the only thing is u cannot do multi tasking as it runs on S40 OS from symbian.. but the best part is u can play music in background and do other things it plays youtube videos ans supports various versions of MP3/4 and Vedio formats as well..
and this phone's sound quality is really good and loud and it supports 3.5 mm Audio jack so u can use any of ur favorite speakers or Ipod headsets also for even better sound quality.. it has a external speaker on the back which is loud enough but camera does't have flash but its a clear and decent camera..
