The Nokia C3 was an extremely durable phone that my mother loved to use for calling, thanks to its long battery life and loud speaker. In September 2025, when Mobifone officially shut down 2G service in Vietnam, the C3 had to retire after more than a decade — and its battery was still remarkably strong.
Since I had anticipated this, I bought a Nokia E72 (at the end of 2021) on Shopee. Unfortunately, its own battery was quite poor, so I kept it stored away. Fortunately, the E72 can use the same battery as the Nokia C3. This means it will still be usable until around 2028, when 3G service is expected to be shut down in Vietnam.

I still use the Nokia C3 but it does not allow me to enter facebook or any other social netwok and more often it does not support my SD card

The SD card might have been corrupted or is not compatible with the device. The SD card variants that it supports are microSDHC and microSDXC. Try another SD card to see if it will work on the device.

vujke, 18 Sep 2023its rly sad how all the apps on this phone arent supported ... moreThe last known firmware version of the Nokia C3 is 8.71 so while the user interface is refreshed, most especially the icons, it is worth noting that normal browsing activities e.g. Google and social media is still functioning up until now, even the standalone web search found in the Internet menu of the phone.

its rly sad how all the apps on this phone arent supported from company, and how now all of these old phones are stuck without any server support and can only access google and opera sometimes tho most of the site dont even work, and are left only to be used to call someone and write an sms...
