Nice big keypad for easy dialing , plus a scratch proof stainless steel body for rough use plus the advantage of touch screen ..... i think this phone will go better .....

just bought nokia 7230 s40 is upgrade in 2.4" display with new large font and custumization,gallery with new 3d style user interface so this c3-01 will be the wow factor because of multi talent touch and type better user friendly than lol! X3-02

It havae only class 10 EDGE and all other nokia fron my 2700c to N97 provie us class 32 EDGE WHAT HAPPEND ;-(

Hi guys !
For all those who think, that C3-01 is not worth it, only because it has S40 OS, which most of you believe is rather clunky, lagging and out-of-date.. Then these 2 videos will certainly prove ALL of you wrong!

I believe this video has cleared almost all my doubts which I had about the new S40 OS used in this phone..
(basically in the Image gallery, music gallery, Apps, and normal functioning of the phone)
Unbelievably :
*It never lags :O
*It's really smooth in navigation
*The touchscreen is very Responsive
*Apps open in a blink of an eye
*Photo galley is awesome
*And the OS is way more advanced than what I supposed previously...
Before I wasn't really sure about going for this phone, but after watching this video... I have made my mind to buy this ASAP !!!

might be an old OS but still very usefull and functional..
defenitiely won't lag like the 5800..

C3-01.. seems like a very good phone, with its specs considering it's s40..
and don't get me wrong, i do love s40!!
and i've waited for nokia to upgrade it's capabilities..
looks like c3-01 is defenitely an upgrade and i like this phone, but how i wish they do some more upgrades to it..
LIKE:
1. AUTOFOCUS with Carl Zeiss lens (5MP is fine)..
2. 16M colors for the screen..
3. for touch and type phones a 2.6in screen..
4. d1 video recording at 25-30fps..
5. stereo speakers (good sounding of course)..
6. or if they can make a full touch s40 phone with at least 3in to 3.2in screen 16M of course it wouls be perfect!!

looks like a phone that is a must try for me. buttons that can be found without looking at the phone are a requirement for me. I need to be able to tap out an SMS under the table while particiapting in a meeting. the numeric keypad also makes navigating automted phone ansering systems much more reliable. and Finally I'm yet to find an operating sytem better then s40. it allows me to customize button reponses and menu items such that the functions that I want are only a few button clicks away while I'm NOT looking at the phone. I'm yet to find a touchscreen phone that comes close to the ease of use of an unbranded/unlocked s40 device.

Frm 232 mhz to 1.5 ghz. But never seen a ram used in any java featured phone. I'm confused about this phone. Frm the look of the photo it seems like a s^60 symbian. If it is then it's a smart phone. But it's not said in the specification. Then Wht's the use of ram in a java s^40 phone??? Wht's the hack is nokia thinking???

video is 2ofps.mpeg4,great camera 5mp,keyboard ,definetly the best,slim-steel body,exelent batery,s40 never hangup,relaible and extremly fast,this phone has so manu advantages,nice and sexy.MUST HAVE!

Nokia do one thing, remove keypads & make it a complete touch screen with S60 UI, keeping the same specs n price. I bet no complains thereafter! Do it soon!! We're waiting for such monster!!!

otherwise the 128 means that it comes with a 128Mb micro-sd card
