the img cache folder stores thumbnails of the images saved in the phone...you can safely delete this folder but it will automatically get re-created when you go to my photos.

Message Tone Volume is poor and although there is a ringtone volume for voice calls which is adjustable and goes to a nice loud ring volume there is nothing to adjust the volume of the message tones and there lower in V6 than V5.
My friend is having these problems and looks like taking it back to be re flashed to old firmware as this is not possible to be done by the user or they will have to replace handset with one with V5 Firmware.
Anyone else having this problem in v6? and would like to comment on v5

Just sent mine back - Internal memory is shockingly bad (couldn't send or receive messages once a picture message was in in box)and even the inclusion of a memory card doesn't resolve the problem as txt msgs can only be saved to phone's woeful internal memory - a real shame as this is a lovely handset and sound operating system. If Nokia sort out the internal memory or allow txt messages to be saved to a memory card this would be a great product.

Hello!
I am thinking of buying this mobile, but i would like to hear opinion of people ho use it. Just basic, how good is touchscreen, sound, display, camera, typing SMS, internet connection... I am not looking for some superb mobile. So if somebody could write their experince.

once my cell phone fell down and from that onwards it was getting switched off many times..I went to Nokia care center. They did some 'Restore factory settings' from settings menu...now its not getting switched off...i want to know the reason why after felling down it was getting switched off suddenly...or this is completely different problem?

I have 1 question here....
I observed that in this phone, there is 'imgcache' folder in the gallery...can we delete this whole folder if some imgcache automatically created.if this folder is deleted,after that where it will store chache?
or this is a by default folder like other folders?

I have a friend with one of these. The battery is poor due to various reasons inc battery capacity. Lack of brightness control on phone and of course what your network is like. Nokia could have put better capacity battery in phone and fitted brightness control. The brightness control can be put in with next firmware from nokia. Higher Capacity battery replacement might be possible.
The phone also is supposed to have stereo widening but this is not apparent on firmware V6 and the Ringtones and Message Tones are not as loud as the could be.
Freezing also is apparent from time to time with the new Firmware.

james cebu, 13 May 2011my nokia c3 01 battery life lasts a day only... can someone... moreVarious things affect how long a phones battery lasts but in normal usage one factor with this phone is a lack of brightness control the display is on full brightness whenever it is lit up. This needs to be addressed by Nokia. Also it can be affected by what network your using and if your in a poor signal area as the poorer the signal the more battery the phone has to use to pull what signal is remaining in. Finally if the battery is a poor capacity this will affect it. a thicker phone with thicker phone battery would improve things no end.

i'm happy with the C3-01 but is there any way to copy a number from Contacts to the message part of Create Message , a feature availble in my previous Nokia cp's and very useful for sending pasaloads , but i just can't figure out how to do it with my C3-01 , thanx.....

how do u move stuff from ur phone memory to ur memory card folder? when i do it, it jus goes straight to memory card im not allowed to put it in the folder.
