like this because it's great to carry in my pocket--- light and thin. won't be doing much with this except to text and call and maybe do a little twittering and fb...otherwise, i'd do everything on my laptop. good enough for me. especially the price!

[deleted post]Haven't seen it on any outlet or other retailers but its available through the websites flipkart.com and univercell.in at a price of Rs. 10,000. Good to go for this price.

Ravikant, 16 Jan 2011video recorder had to capture 30 photo per second... it is ... moreIt requires a lot of RAM and processing power to capture 30 fps, 15 is the best that this fone can handle.
15fps is at VGA resolution which is 640 × 480 if you want to capture 30fps then reduce the resolution from settings to CIF which is 352 × 288 or less.

Optimus One P500?. im torn ... morenot its definately not better than LG Optimus One because,
This uses old verson of Symbion OS whereas that uses the latest Android 2.3.
This have resistive touchscreen with 16M colors and that have capacitive touchscreen but with 256k colors, not a big problem.
Internal memory and RAM is higher in Optimus One.
Optimus One supports DivX/Xvid videos.
Hope it clarifies your doubts.

[deleted post]Its far better from Monte, this have 16M colors, 5MP cam though its not autofocus and no LED Flash which your Monte also doesn't have it and that is a 3.2MP cam. Here you have big screen, downloadable JAVA applications and games with all the latest from social networking. The OS is just a bit old amonth Symbian OSes, forget S^3 at this price.
I would definately suggest you to go for this, Samsung S5250 Wave525 is also a good alternative and if you could increase your budget a bit then you have LG Optimus One.
