I bought an E52 two weeks back and terribly disappointed with this device. I bought this for GPS, 3G/GPRS, Push Email and other software applications.
1) Ear phone is the worst I have ever used. It virbates like a bee when you hear another person with a low or high frequency sound.
2) GPS takes its own sweet time to figure out the position.
3) The phone does not respond when I get a call. I can't operate anything on phone or answer/reject the call.
3) Today (30/05/2010) I got a call from a person next to me. I saw that there were a few vertical lines around the number that appeared. After sometime the phone shutdown. It never got powered after that. I tried to charge the phone, tried to connect to OVI and OVI does not recognize it.
I am seriously considering returning this phone and buying a low end product for 2000-3000 range. I was a big brand ambassador for Nokia. Not anymore.

The phone has e REALLY bad T9 for Norwegian. NOKIA has made seriously good businessphone but trips and falls in making the most poor T9 in any NOKIA ever! And this in a phone for professional users. The T9 has too few words and comes up with stupid suggestions all the time. I have updated my firmware several times, and it has come to the point where I am considering on selling the phone and buying something else. Maybe a HTC Desire...?

Nokia has given so many gud features like advanced cpu, gud battery backup, font magnifier, advanced call manager to block unwanted calls, wide sacreen etc etc, but build quality is not gud. SIGNAL DROPPING IS A BIG PROBLEM in this handset. Moreover ringer n loudspeaker volume is below aveg. Sacreen is also not so vibrant as should be in a 16m color handset.

[deleted post] i got mine from Nokia priority dealer west gate mall ,Rajouri garden for 11900 ..black colour ...brilliant phone , sleek and very light weight(i wish nokia could add a little more weight to the phone) ...cherry on the cake , The salesgirl was sweet too ;)

Hi i am using the E Series from 3 years
i just bought E52 & i found problems IN THE CONTACTS app.
1)when i search for a contact the phone keep this search in a certain file which is not shown for us and this file has a certain storage capacity which will be full after approx. 30 times of Searching.
2) after it got full you will not be able to open the PHONEBOOK CONTACTS.
3)it says :
MEMORY full, close some applications and try again.
and then you have to reboot the phone to work properly for another 4 or 5 hours depends on when you will finish the maximum number of searchs (Approx 30 times)
4) whenever NO OTHER applications had been opened it also says the same message.
5) i exchanged the phone by another new E52 from the same store i had bought it from.
6) the same problem occured
7) They advised me to update the software in nokia care
8) after i updated the software the problem happened again
9)I was sure that i had a virus in my contacts in the old phone E51
10) i re-exchanged the second phone by a third one new E52 & i began to enter the contacts manualy by writing the number then save to Contacts to guarantee that there is no VIRUS
11) FINALLY the problem HAPPENED AGAIN !!!!!!!
12 i was sure that it's a problem in the MODEL E52
i compared E52 with the E72 BUT i don't like its size and its small buttons qwerty key board. so i got the E75
E75 problems:
little Heavy
PERFECT as whenever u need qwerty keyboard u find it and if u want the regular buttons you also find it.

what is the difference between th black e52 and the older metal grey and did Nokia made the black edition with less problems that we heard in the metal grey or r they the same cause am confused the metal grey or the black ???!!!

Just bought a black E52 and I'm very much satisfied with it. It has tons of features, sophisticated look and most of all, easy connectivity to my other devices. Did I mention that its more cheaper compared to other smartphone?

[deleted post]Its our bad luck tht white and golden aluminium is not available here. White looks cool and d best color of e52(IMO).
Yesterday, i got a chance to hold Black aluminium. And i thnk black aluminium is d 2nd best color.
Here, in gujarat only grey and black available.
