@Rohit,
Thankx rohit but if i need a phone i need a e52 nd nt that n79 cz it looks too very boyish. nd heavy and since ive been using e51 from long time i dnt want any other phone other than e52, Also ive been hearing that there were many probs regarding the microphones, Ny update on them, are they solved with the firmware upgrade issue, will e52 come in black colour cz i dnt wanna go for a silver one.

it's preety much same, but E52 is step and a half ahead.

taha, 16 Apr 2010you can perchase nokia E63 for better result in compare of e52 which phone is better E52 or E71

@priyanka...e52 is launching anytime soon in india , probably within a weeks time...i'm also eagerly waiting for this phone..there's nothing great about n79 as compared to e52, but as long as it is coming to u for free (as yr b'day gift), it should be welcome with a smile..Happy birthday to u in advance

E51 has louder ringtones than E52. Notification light is in better place in E51 and illuminates stronger.

overcharging issue. go to page 111 of your nokia manual. it says that... "do not leave a fully charged battery connected to a charger, since overcharging may shorten its lifetime". so overcharging can affect the battery life of the phone. So it means that if your battery is full you have to remove it or else it can shorten battery life. My phone is made in finland.

I have Finland 52-1. And I have the latest firmware update.
Sometimes it is frozen for some secs but then responds.
But yesterday it was absolutely frozen, I waited 8 hours that if it would response somehow, no way. I had to take the battery off at the end!

The A-GPS support and the high speed makes it an all-in-one device. Pls I will recommend it for myself and any other friend. It worths the pay, trust me. Make sure u are buying an original NOKIA WARRANTY phone.

e52, 16 Apr 2010lastest update v 033.003 date 04-mar-2010 hi thanks for your prompt reply..but i tried to update my firmware but the software updater says my latest firmware is updated but its only 22.002 and you said the latest is 33..? perhaps in other country its already updated but mine here in hongkong its not

Your post wasn't boring at all. In fact it could have even been longer as I enjoyed reading it.
I am still yet to get my E52 but my provider said they are working on getting it.
The E52 have the latest webkit browser compared to the N79's older version, which is the closest browser I have seen in comparison to computer browsers.
Other than that the SAR rating is lower on the E52 which is better for the human body. For example if you aren't getting a good reception on the N79 then the antenna will have to work harder to get a good enough signal for calls and the SAR can raise to the maximum level which is 1.40 for N79 and basically 1.05 for E52. In other words when the antenna reception isn't strong you are more likely to experience headaches with the N79 whereas you may never experience any headaches with the E52 due to the lower SAR rating.
Furthermore the E52 is slimmer and lighter making it more compact. The E52 is a newer phone so you may find several enhancements that the N79 doesn't have.
Review sites have said the E52 is better than N-Series not to mention more powerful than most E-Series, N-Series and other Nokia series with it's 600Mhz CPU.
You just can't go wrong with the E52.

I have had a Finnish made E-52 bought in Germany for 6 months and never had a problem. Obviously some other people have troubles with their phones.
If you like the phone just buy it from a reputable shop or direct from Nokia not some shady business. That way you know you are covered if a problem happens.
Personally I believe the Finnish made phones give you a better chance of not getting a lemon so when I was buying I looked on the box first to make sure where it was produced.
