Benjamin, 12 Jan 2010Does E52 have brighter screen than E71 ? never did use any e71, so would not be able to give u a straight forward answer.
there's however a light sensor to vary the brightness, get's dimmer when surrounding is dark, and boosted up when use under bright light.
the display would fade in colors (but not clarity nor readability) when use under direct sunlight.

its an amazing phone........and it will not launch in india as its manufatring has been discontinued due to the realease of E72 .......but u can get it from U.K

The materials quality and attention of workers is different and we all know this no matter how politically correct someone wants to be.
Yes you can get a bad one from Finland or anywhere else but chances for better quality are higher in Finland than in third world factory.

Samsung makes good phones too, I won't dispute that but Samsungs batteries certainly doesn't last as long as Nokia batteries...anybody want to dispute that ?

These units that are causing so much problems are EARLY UNITS of the First Batch and Nokia is still testing the consumer defects that are found. That is the WISDOM behind not rushing in to buy the NEWEST units but to wait for the later batches that will have STABLE SOFTWARE and better build quality.
SO wait until the newer units arrive with all defects corrected already.
Personally I love this phone because of its awesome battery life and slim profile, imagine having a thin ipod like phone in your front pocket listening to MP3 music. But I am willing to wait until the dust has settled and the phone software problems have been eliminated.
