My E52-1 made in Finland ,,CTV UK Metal colour,,and come with v20 software which i updated straight away to v22..
MINOR BUGS are....
Updating music only adds between 10 -90 mp3s per refresh but solvable by switching off wait 10 seconds then restart and maually start refresh of music library ..
When battery has finished//reinsert new card/turn phone off/on results in messges haved to be stored on phone memory as it pops up saying unable to access memory card which never happened in n-series..
If i install themes or app to memory card using card reader fone slows to a crawl,,solvable by bluetoothing themes and apps to E52 and installing results in fone being back to lightning fast..
Cannot get usual apps to use LED as torch..
Tips,,use a fresh formatted card and dont update from v20 try it first i think its more stable..I honestly had bits of teething problems but its now settled and working fine..This is my first e-series and it superb except for cam which only provides good shots after 80cms..good points to come..

E52 is nicer than E51
secon... moreagree - good phone, but not great - it still is a bit sluggish, and slow when it comes to certain applications - however, an update should fix that.
plus at this current software stage, the v22 - it freezes when you get messages, etc - again, hopefully an update will fix that.
Also - regarding email - does nayone know how to set up an "automatic" sync with emails? ive set it up - but mine doesnt do it automatically... ?
source = i have the phone and used it for hte alst month.

E52 is more business oriented and targetted to ex E51 users and people who like typing with alphanumeric keypad. I am sure N79 OS is more reliable than E52.

E52 is nicer than E51
secondary video call cam,
thinner in size (shirt pocket friendly)
sleek metal design, and nice rear too (doesn't look cheap)
good battery (power saving mode available)
this E52 works very well with email and attachment!! love it so much.
but i don't like this new S60 (it cannot select/block multiple sms by pressing# button like E51 did)i do hope that nokia will soon update and correct it.

how does that email notification shows up on the active screen i have my email pop3 setup but it doesnt show there

Well, the quality is the same on each e52. The "made in finland" or "made by nokia" sticker lets the customer know where the phone has been assembled. in most cases, the "made by nokia" phones are assembled in china. Anyway, the quality is the same.

tm11vnl, 07 Dec 2009i had the E52 for 4 weeks , the signal isn't that great , g... morei have the same problem also,and today i give them back for 3 times now,and you know what they did?they upgrade my phone and they give me back,that they found the solution!before i give them i asked a technician and he say to me that nokia dosent make any more good phones and the new phones life its only for a year,that everybody go to change their phones,and that is good for factory,cause they still working to make money.

I've bought two E52's both Made in Korea and I haven't had the crashing/restarting problems.
I don't really like the build quality, but that seems to be a problem across all units from whichever country.

I am planning to change ma mobile and am a bit confused between N79 and E52 .. m not sure which one is good .. can anybody help me out in this matter . the prize is round about same.. N i love music .. i need good EDGE 3G and Wifi.. Hope you people have the answer .. i will buy may b this friday so kindly suggest me ...

By saying till update i mean till e52 gets update.Brilliant fone but only had it 3 days and still on first charge.

E52, 07 Dec 2009Please post your user feedback on the negative issues raise... morefew crashes to start with using zedge themes,to solve just put 2 on max till update.. Alway use a fresh card formatted on e52,if u take it out of old fone it makes e52 run slow. on day 3 of lots of use and have 2 bars left.

I am confused: there are pictures posted of a very nice looking all black E52, but the one I saw here in the Philippines has silver edge trimmings. Has anybody seen the pure ALL BLACK version?

I don't know if these software malfunctions are really true or just lack of skill on the part of the user. There are a lot of bad comments and we want to know if these are true or just fiction.
