pls help guys..... i've got this e52 for 3 weeks now and there's no problem until last night.... there's a blinkining message icon on the upper right and i cant figure out what it was . I've check the inbox message and theres no message unread. I've also gone thru my email and it says no massage. I have also tried restore the factory settings but still the icon is still there. pls help me what to do about it.

I have used an E52 for over 3 months, I think it's really better than E51__my boyfriend had used E51 for over 1 year. Almost everything is better, though E51 has its own advantages in our opinion. Especially, you know, the ability of high Internet access, it's the best lovely point to judge it when E-series are for "Entrepreneur" with Office function. Additionally, the keyboard of E51 was peeling off little by little, terible!!

The E52 which you mentioned as being much louder...was it made in Finland, made by Nokia, Made in Korea etc. ? Can you say please ?

Been to a few shops in Beijing today, and they all seem to have the black version now. Its a grey import from HK or Malaysia from what IU could tell. Some running firmware v 0.21 others are on 0.22. All of the black ones say Made by Nokia.
The black is much better than the silver and gold. The keys are more readable and to my suprise there is also a white version out now (dark key etchings).
Nearly bought one of the black ones, but since the shop did not supply all the materials with it I pulled out in the end. They sell them for RMB 1900 (GBP 165.00 on the 29th of Nov).
All the boxes they came with were of the silver versions and with a UK charger. Could not find out why that was, but I guess they must have grey imported the units rather than all the boxes... go figure.

Superb mobile from nokia no problem no hang, no bugs working charm with my 8gb memory card i have made by nokia and 022 veson go and buy dream phone

You are not the first person to mention the 6720 classic as an alternative and I can tell it's a loud phone just by looking. It reminds me of the 6233 and has 2 speakers.
But the non-existence of Wi-fi is a deal breaker for me.

hi guys,
merry christmas and happy new year in advance, i think that a good replacement for the e51 is the new 6720 classic.
the material is great as in te e51.
its a smart phone with a sries 60 symbian.
3.5 mm jack.
5 mp camera
keypad is ok, a bit tiny but you can get used to it.
the most important, the earpiece of the 6720 is very great, very loud and clear.

I think that nokia e52 is great.i'm using it for already 2 months and it works perfectly.i find it one of the coolest e-series ever made..........

Has anyone else had trouble downloading the 022.009 software update?
I have tried *#0000# and followed the prompts - only to go through check update > connect to internet >connecting > receiving data from Nokia > no updates available.
No updates available? I have 021.013 so I know there are updates available.
2nd attempt was via the nokia website to download to my PC. Did this, installed the software on my PC, then it would not open due to configuration issues. I followed all of the Help suggestions to configure my ports, deactivate my firewall, etc, but still the application won't open/work.
So annoyed. Any suggestions?

whats the deference between e52 and e71 's symbian for e71 or e72 it is said symbian serie 60 ver9.4 but for e52 its said only symbian serie 60...

Anonymous, 26 Nov 2009hi i got this phone today having been using e51 for past 14... moreguys no one is satisfied with any mobiles, when e 51 had released there were so many of them saying that the buttons made of rubber are easily peeling of and all that stuff. now when e 52 is released the same persons say that e 51 is of best quality...guys what is wrong with you. e 51 has highest radiation which i believe is nothing for you people.
personally for me e 51 is good and e 52 is also good, you just need to change your view, than you will start loving even e 52.
guys e 51 is bad for your health.......just think for yourself which is important your health or durability of a mobile with high radiation........

I have E52 since more than two weeks.
It seems that the aluminum color ring around the phone has to be metal (an kind a aluminum alloy).
In my phone, this ring is quite loose, and does not seems at all as metal, but just as plastic (I do have Nokia 6120c and there the ring is metalic).
Can anyone of you comment about this?
