Dear All, I am happy to get the positivie feed bac about E-52 but may be u r the lucky person! As with a\many other E52 my one stras giving problem from the ay one....it shut off suddenly without any notice....call cuts off during talking....really un tollerable from a brand new set!!! And he service of Nokia centers (they call it Nokia care!) is not at all customer focused in my country. Last week they have received my E52 and in the following day they said it has to be replaced. But when it is not sure........so think and read the review before going for E-52....no doubt its a fantastic set n has excellent fetures n long battery life but the main feature of any set MUST BE ON all the time unless u turn off!!!

I previously had a Nokia 6300 and I have always consider the 6300's TFT screen as the very best...and not just me, every single individual who crossed path with the 6300.
Does the E52's screen surpass the 6300 ?
Even GSMArena's reviewer had to praise the 6300 screen classing it as 'Enchanting Display'.
Once again TRF, does the E52's screen surpass the 6300 ?
If it does then I will be more than happy to get my hands on the E52 because I miss the realism of the 6300's display.

Bought it for one week. No stability problem as reviewed by other users. Experienced 2-3 crashes, due to my heavy test of softwares. No problem found in normal usage. There are lots functions not documented.
The Advanced comm manager very cool. During meeting, I can set to reject call and send back a sms automatically.
The voice command is very cool. No need to learn, no need to setup voice id. Just dictate the name in contact, or a software name, it runs. One interesting thing, if I use English, it never recognize my command. If I use Chinese(Cantonese), nearly 100% accepted. This make me busy to type in Chinese names in my contact.
One thing to remind: Don't buy parallel import models. The voice function is localized to your region. IN Hong Kong, there is Cantonese and English. I guess in Taiwan and Mainland China, there is Mandarin.

I bought my E52 from local Vodafone dealership and in the firs three days of use it restarted itself in the middle of every call I made or receive I took it back to Vodafone and they send it to warranty, where it staid 37 DAYS!!!!!!....but now the phone is PERFECT!!! Battery time more than 3 days with intensive usage, and not even one restart or freezing of the phone (they changed the circuit board, the phone has now a new IMEI and MAC address)

It's plastic. The inner part is not painted and it's clearly plastic. If they say that the outer part is metal then it's paper thin metal. So I think it's just painted plastic.
But apart from that, still no software problem after 2 months of use. I guess build quality is okay too. I just got spoiled with the E51 =)

I got one. The edge is plastic and in my opinion the case construction is a step back compared to E51.

To EVERYONE:
I have seen quite a few people from here saying that the strip at the edge of the E52 is plastic and NOT metal.
Well an editorial reviewer says as much as it may not seem like metal, the strip around the edge of the E52 IS metal.
