Help - sometimes a small tiny "globe with handset" display indicator appears next to the battery level indicator on the top right side of the screen. can someone tell what is it, it is not shown at all in the operators manual. Thanks

Muhamed all I can say is my phone is working well,so far so good.By the way I dont use it for email or chatting,etc.The ringing volume is average especially tones preinstalle.I use mp3 tones&it is ok.I like the phone very much but I guess luck is important&u can follow Romeo advice&wait 4 a while until bugs can b fixed&price goes down a little bit.Good luck

Romeo thanx 4 answering my query,it is 2 badwhat is happening with your phone it reminds me of the bugs I had with my N80&at the end I sold it.My E52 so far so good,Im keeping my fingers crossed after readin so many non-positive comments about this phone

Can anyone tell if the firmware update is available from Nokia yet? Or is it available on any other site?
when will Nokia release the 1st firmware update for E 52. I cant wait to update my phone considering the number of bugs in the phone.

hi all.
ibought this phone twice.first week was working fine.after that stop working phone is totaly dead not even turning on.2nd phone after one day phone showing into screen ....phone stat-up failed.contact retailer.both phone is dead for me.i hate this phone.carefull guys from this phone.

Could someone please post an macro image made with e52. Preferably some text (book, sheet of paper with as much text as possible :)).
I really like this phone but I often need to take some macro pictures (which have readable text)...

Muhammad, 21 Sep 2009a question to Tutti Frutti, i'm egyptian and i'm so int... morei can't tell you exactly whether to buy it or not, but i really had a bad experience with this phone. i don't recommend it anymore. the older version E51 is much more reliable than the E52. if you really like the E52 my advice is wait until they fix the software bugs.

I wonder when Nokia E52 will be available in Australia. Why we always have to wait for so long. If we get this phone finally please not grey colour. Looks very ugly. Everything is black in here anyway.

a question to Tutti Frutti,
i'm egyptian and i'm so interested in e52, all the reviews from various mobile sites about e52 are positive while most opinions from regular users confirmed bugs like death of the phone or bad call quality and i want to know if you had any of these problems because i'm afraid to buy it and face the same major problems.

Nokia E52 and E55 is available in India though not officially but thru grey market which means...no bill no warranty....
E55 Rs.29k
E52 Rs.21k

It would be interesting to calculate how many comments report bugs and dead E52s compared to flawless ones.
Obviously 1/2 or more than 1/2 of the E52 released are buggy.
There are a lot of bug related reports here and a whole lot more on NOKIA DISCUSSIONS FORUM.
I guess me not getting it right away is the best thing.

The E52 is the most controversial phone I have seen since the 6300.
I'm still eager to get it and run my tests on it.
