sound quality iz not goOd.., but baterry life iz amazing, camera quality iz also goOd as compare to 5630 xpress...

Hi All
with all hared testing for E52 its very good
but i shocked when i do my Sip configuration and its ok but i didnt find internet tel software from contacts option for internet tel is not there if nokia in sitting they put sip config ware is the next step realy they miss it

I folowed this phone since it's been announced. I need a phone with a big contacts list, good reception and loud ringtones. I wanted to buy one last days but the dealer (Nokia authorised dealer and service !)told me not to do that. The reason: 5 out of 6 phones returnet faulty in the first 14 days. There seems to be a big hardware/software problem with this model!
I think I'll wait a cople of months before thnkinig again. Anny good news from you all?

My friend your post was not too long nor was... moreI have the E52 and the screen itself is fine. But the color is a bit off. Like the reds and oranges are brighter than they should. Compared do the E51 that has the colors just right.
Also I find the build quality of E51 better than E52. And after two weeks, the battery cover of my E52 is now starting to loosen and move side to side a bit. I'm thinking of just taping it inside to the battery hehe.
I'll also wait for your review to see if it's just my phone or what.

You are right, in 6300 pixels cannot be seen with the naked eye...even GSMAren'a official review stated this. The funny thing is that the 6300 is the only 2" 16M 240*320 display which GSMArena's review titled 'Enchanting Display' and the review also drooled about superbly fine images and photos looking gorgeous etc.
The E51 has the very same screen and GSMArena didn't elaborate on the clarity like it did for the 6300.
So it will be interesting to see how E52 fears in this department.
The N79 is bulky and plastic...as is the case with all N-Series as far as I know.
Why go with something heavier, bulkier and plasticky when you can get quite the opposite with the E52 and get even later technology as a bonus. I'm just reasoning here so don't run out and buy the E52 just yet (smile).
When I get my E52 I will tell you whether you should take your chances with the N79 or let the N79 R.I.P.

I believe you about the lower signal in both 2G and 3G mode because I just read about it on Nokia Discussin Forum...could it be YOU who left it over Nokia Forum ?
Nevertheless, I have a E51 which works perfectly for the most part but haven't gotten my E52 yet BUT as soon as I do (which may very well be next week end of August to 1st week September) I will compare both my E51 and E52 side by side and let you and all the other people know the result from my end.
This test should be an interesting one because my E51 has full signal 99.9% of the time no matter where I am in my city so I should be able to go virtually anywhere and do this comparison. Look out for my comparison and full review.

I am really surprised when GSM arena the voting results on E55 was 9.0 on all three criteria at Feb 09, and now the E52 released and exactly the same specs to the E55 has 8.5. GSM Arena Tech team should not be biased, hoping they do change their way of structured approach to certain models and brands.

according to me, 6300 display wud d more clear and legible. Bcoz in terms of resolution, both are QVGA(240*320) and 16m true colors. So in a 2" display, pixels are more nearer than 2.4". Its hard to see a single pixel(matrix) in 6300. Though i dnt get a chance to hold E52 till nw, what i think tht its display may nt be as clear as 6300. This is what i understand.
I dnt mean gigi is wrong.

thnx 4 ur reply. I also like e52 more than n79. Other short-coming of n79 is tht it dosnt charge over usb. And no document editing out of box.
Bt sm ppl complaining like a hell. I visited europe nokia's discussion web. Most ppl are complaing abt its network capabilities and bad call quality.
Many of them find display and rebooting probs.
Most of them can't be wrong.
Simultaneously we hav sm gud reviews also.
Contrary to tht, i found unanimously gud review regarding n79.
It may be due to the latest firmware available for n79 nd nt for e52.
Lets see, wat happens.

I had E51 before E52 and I could use internet with same wifi point. Also I can use internet with laptop over this same wifi point.
But some how, some way it does not work with E52.
So as I know that I can reach to internet using this wifi point is reason I'm asking if some one had had similar problem.

I just realised that you said that the E52's screen is clearer than the 6300.
Well my friend if that is the case then that's wonderful because I have been longing for a similar screen like the 6300 or a better one.
Out of curiousity where was your E52 manufactured ?

The 6300 was a cool phone for the most part. It may not have have the most stable OS and it may not have advanced technology like the E51 & E52 but it has the VERY BEST LCD screen I have ever seen on any mobile period. The clarity from the 6300's screen is life like and uncomparable. GIGI, you, I and All those who owns or owned a 6300 knows what I'm talking about.
In regards to the E52...GIGI and all you E52 owners out there...whenever there's a missed call or new text message, does the notification light blink from the light sensor like the E51 or does it blink from the NAVI-KEYPAD like the E71. I don't find the navi-key notification light to be that effective based on the time I spent with the E71.
It's not bad when it blinks from the light sensor like E51 but when I think about it, the 6300's notification light was probably the best idea where two blue leds blink from both sides of the phone.
Since Nokia don't like the idea of their smartphones using side leds as notification alert then it would have been nice if they combined both the E51 and E71 together making it blink both from the light sensor and the NAVI-KEYPAD simultaneously.
Just a thought.

gr8 phone guys, if u r planning to buy this get one without any second thought.Just ignore negative reviewes and get from a authorised reseller.Real good sound, good built and amazing connectivity n data transfer.Slim to teh core in nokia make.

No... moreyes... you're right. when 240x320 pixel is strecth in 2.8" display or more... the active matriks is more visible :(
2.4" display is enough for 240x320 px ;-) sharp...

Nokia N95:
2,6" (6,6 centimters) screen size with 16mio Colours
Nokia N95 8GB:
2,8" (7,1 centimters) screen size 16mio Colours
Nokia E52:
2,4" (6,1 centimters) screen size 16mi Colours
The E52 has better display resolution compared to the display size!
N95 and N95 8GB has maybe bigger display but the resolution its the same which allows the E52 better display quality on a smaller screen!!!

I've got the E52 for about 2 days now and i can say that this is a really great phone i mean that the screen is great (to OJ i think it is better than the 6300 that i also had) and comparing it to the e51 side-be-side... there is no comparison a much more clear and better colors...
for the signal part both phones (e51 and e52) on 2G same network no difference
the navigation part... i hope i will install garmin on it soon...
battery... later :-)
And by the way when you hold the e51 and e52 in hand after using the e51 for a while you get a wow effect i mean i thought the e51 was the greatest phone the e52...
