E series IS NOT a prototype form of N series.
E series ALWAYS have the OS from N series 6months-9months latter....when N series got v3 FP1, E series got v3 without FP, when N series got v3 FP2, E series got the v3 FP1. When N series got v5, E series got the v3 FP2.
I really hope that Non-Symbian/Non-Nokia user doesn't spread non-sense. If you don't really know Nokia or symbian, don't make false rumors.

this phone is very good. Its a clone too the Red shenz.Its works very well. the colours and features are also great.

I agree u and i have a nokia 62... moreThe nokia E series is the nokia premium series. The physical aspect of the phone in E series *IS* the best. It's very solid.
The nokia do-re-mi-fa (4 digit number series) were the cheapest nokia series. It can't be compared to N-series or E-series.

I agree u and i have a nokia 6290(2mp without autofocus) and im very content with it
now im more optimistic of the E52
because my 6290 is made by plastic and for me it isnt a good build quality (but i believe not fiber plastics)
that why i hope this handy have a good one
and me would interest how the music quality is and is it loud?

E series is well known for it's build quality. E series quality is far more superior than Nokia N-series.
as for the camera, YMMV. The captured image quality from E-series camera is not the main focus of this series. E series focus is about business not multimedia. You should treat the camera as a bonus. If you wanna a very good picture, get a DSLR. Otherwise, the camera in E52 would do just great for you.

The E52 is very nice but I decided to wait for the E72. The much better camera, more internal memory and optical pad seemto be worth the extra money...
In any case, I have yet to see any of the 3 models in a store... the E trio is forever delayed. Shame on Nokia. Perhaps this time they will be released with decent firmware instead of the usual alpha-grade crap that Nokia puts out. Truth is, after 4 or 5 firmware upgrades nothing beats a Symbian Nokia in reliability and productivity.
