When i had this phone it gave me many bugs anyway its a great phone with the battery power the battery can last for more than week maybe without using the wifi if you use the wifi it will drain the battery in one day. i have also found many bugs for example when you open the pictures gallery its so slow and sometimes it gets stuck further more when i put my head phones inside my phone to hear the radio the phone hangs and i have to remove the phone battery and put it on again so the phone will work again. in general it has a very powerful battery but many bugs i recommend that you dont update because when i did each time i tried to connect to my computer it froze and turned off. i ended up breaking this phone and hitting it on the wall i hate this phone i bought nokia c5-03 instead i know its weaker in many aspects but it doesnt have any of this bugs mentioned above so far. thats my experience and i dont think this phone is good at all.

Superb phone for business. Great text, notification features. Strong signal reception in areas where other phones would have a weak signal. Outstanding wifi reception, can detect several wifi networks; where the iphone and other superphones would only show 1 wifi network. UI a breeze for those comfortable with Nokia and symbian in general. Amazing standby time; ideal for lots of phone calls and checking some email.

Maybe I'm too technologically challenged but I dont find the phone to be user friendly at all.
The keys are too close and small, so I invarialbly end up pressing the wrong one.I'm not able to send pics from my phone to my email.Maybe it can be done, but I probably have to read the user manual or something.The web button on the right is a pain in the #$%. Whenever I try to lock the phone, it connects to the web or when I try to backspace, it connects to the web.I changed from Sony to Nokia because I was hoping for a user friendly product.
I use the phone for business and must be able to make/receive calls and be able to use the camera. I dont need it for anything else. It just disconnects by itself and it stalls.

I updated but Radio is operating normally...try re-installing the firmware with NSU(Nokia Software Updater). You can refer here: http://betalabs.nokia.com/apps/nokia-software-updater

cheska, 08 Aug 2011I already have this phone and in almost 10th mnths old.and... moreIts problem with ur sim card not phone, even i had faced such problem like insert sim, registration failed, startup failed in my 5800 phone. if ur sim has got many scratches then it will happen like this. just get a new sim, format ur phone or its better reinstall software by using nokia sw update application whre u can reinstall the entire os. and then try it. Nokia E52 is a best phone only ppl who dont know to operate efficeintly face problems n complain.

I already have this phone and in almost 10th mnths old.and I have a problem now...its always say "INSERT SIM CARD" and I try turn on and it say "PHONE START-UP FAILED CONTACT RETAILER"....and its so hard to fine some parts of this phone in my country..can any one help to solve this problem.....Please

Guys, I have to decide between E52 & Galaxy 3.
Touchscreens look good but are suspect to non-responsive zones in the screen plus when you are busy,you have to use both your eyes and hands to do anything on touchscreens. A friend of mine is selling his E52. Before making final decision, I want to ask you guys if I am right in favoring E52 over Galaxy, though it is Android!
