Man I love this phone as much as I love my girlfriend!!
Well may not be exactly that much, but I really like it. hahah LOL... Advance Call Manager is really useful to reject unwanted calls. I love the GPS too.

I surely love this phone. Its awesome and lightning speedy. Pals just don't fill up your phone memory as it will lag. I enjoy it especially the surfing and GPS. Its perfect made in Korea. No hanging issue. I have upgraded to the new firmware Ver. 0.52.003. The improvement is noted on the Media>Gallery GUI....hope it wont disappoint me with time. The 2009 batch had problems but now they are mature and stable. I really love it.

This Phone is Just awesome. It is feature pack phone with good performance and yet affordable and pocketable. MAn I LOVE IT

May be true that the problem was there in the 2009 model, but I have to say the problem does not exist at all with my handset 2010 made(korea made) black.

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2010Hey Raj, I dont know what "light leaking issue"... morethanks for the reply .... actually i had veiwed the nokia support discussions for the E52....some of the guys were mentioning that the light was coming from the gap in between the buttons on the keypad and some of the buttons were loose....thats wat i had mentioned as light leaking problem.... u experiencing any problems like that...?

I recommend doing a factory reset once after the firmware upgrade to the latest version. Coz all your settings for the old firmware might not be the best for the new firmware. I feel it is faster after the factory reset. Seriously Mang!!

Frank in L A., 08 Dec 2010Guys I have forgotten, do I take out the micro SD. card bef... moreI did an upgrade without taking out My SD card. Everything is intact after the upgrade also. It is a minor bugfix I suppose, coz the update size is just 1204KB(1.2MB).
I found one GUI change in the gallery->image, there has to be some other changes also.

suggestion to E52 Users

Do not install applications just because you can, unless you really use the apps, because each apps takes space, some of them run in the background too, which takes up the limited RAM(119MB) and space from 60MB(internal storage).
Uninstall the preloaded apps also unless you need them.
Switch off the sensor(Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate) to save battery life, if you don't really use it its better to switch off.
Turn off auto scan of wireless network.
My E52 phone is really fantastic in all aspects. Im happy I bought it:)

I got mine back repaired from the service centre last week, and it has been worse than before. It was crashing every few minutes, during offline mode wifi browsing. The display would dim and keypad light up. Then the phone die and need a hard reset. Last night, I went to App Manager and uninstalled everything except three apps I added myself. There was all kinds of Symbian stuff there, C++ libraries, PIPS upgrade, S60SOA. After removing all that, the phone has been fine, not crashed once today and I did not yet find anything can no longer work after the uninstalling. Today, there was a firmware upgrade which I have applied too (version 052.003). So far, no problems. Hoepfully, my 3 months of hell with this phone is finally at an end. Time will tell.

Please tell me is it... moreI bought mine in March 2010. The first one bricked within 2 days and the second one (which I still have) has had all sorts of problems, shutting down randomly and losing settings when it's switched on and off. But the latest problems is that when I get a low battery warning, it won't charge because it says it's fully charged and to unplug it from the power supply. Tried charging in a different port but same thing.
Taking it to Nokia service centre this week to run some diagnostics on the battery, charger, and charging port. Have to say I hate how unreliable the phone is. It's already had 5 factory resets and I still have problems with it.
