Nokia 8800 is know for its heavy use of a battery. This is why Nokia included an extra battery in the package. E65 is basically the same as E60, but more retail user friendly as opposed to business professional as E60.
Don't complain about E60, ust upgrade the firmware and reinstall all applications. This is one of the best phones around (E60). And it is availabe for under $300.00. It does not have a camera, so for kids, it probably has no value.

hey guys, i wonder if u can tell me one thing. Just checked the real phone in the shop and surprisingly enough the red color is not that bright as it is on all the pictures that i have seen. it is more like wine color rather than red. or may be there is another color on the market as well ? coz i am really after a red one but i find it a bit too dark and am a bit dissappointed..

Had this phone since Friday and am finding that I will have to charge it every 2 days.
I use it for about 60 mins per day calls and about 30-45 mins Wifi a day.
Wifi does work just have to make sure you read the manual and set it up from the right menu.

nice phone! no problem since i bought it two weeks ago. all the features are more than enough for my usage. u will get busy with that phone. it is worth the money.

apart from having camera how does e65 compare to e60 which i have found locks up a lot....does slider function well?

Hi Peter...personally, I feel the battery life is decent. I get 3 days out of it on average and I'm not a heavy user, prob 30 mins-60 mins/day talking, 10-30 mins on wi-fi/day...Voice calls are really clear, no complaints there. The phone does heat up very quickly though, whether I use wi-fi or make a phone call for more than 10 mins. But the ability to view appointments and calender functions on standy is handy, though not quite as good as my PDA.

I am a very heavy mobile phone user (about 60 -80 calls a day) and was wondering what the battery life is like with the E 65?? I currently have a nokia 8800 and the batt. life is useless!!!!! Do you only get one batt. with the E 65 ?? any comments would be appreciated regarding the E 65 before I go out and buy one. many thanks.. PETER. PERTH AUSTRALIA

Fantastic screen quality. Kinda slow to load and move through the menus but not as bad as an N-series. Has lots of extra features like PDF viewer and Microsoft functions, BlackBerry, movie and music editors. Much more compatible to put other software on and create your own folders.
Does not have a tab menu view :( comes with a nice black velvet pouch and full accessories (data cable, 256 memory card). The extra personalisation button is handy.
Only one side has the stero speaker but the sound is clear and LOUD!!! Battery is ok 4-5 days but it depends on how much you use the extra features.

hi all, i saw this phone today for the first time and fell in love with it. it looks really nice. i know that the camera is only 2mpx and is not as good as n73, but it has everything else. i am going to buy it with my next pay cheque. can anyone tell me about the sound quaility of the ring tones and speakers when listening to music MP3's. also why mono head set can we get streo head set separately. appreciate it very much. thanks to all for the reply.
