I got this phone in June last year, loved it to bits until it started to really annoy me. I had issues with the SIM card reader, it was sent back and repaired twice, but is working now. Battery life was great for awhile and is now terrible. The Wi-Fi is nice, I bought a Bluetooth GPS for it and it works well. Features are generally really good BUT the camera is ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING (Nokia should be ashamed, all my photos come out with a green tinge). The slider mechanism has always impressed me, but the silver navigation pad rubs off and turns copper - unattractive. Keypad is really nice, typing messages is easy. Mine started to slow down as soon as I got the Maps software, and also with a 2GB memory card (nowhere near full) it is horribly slow and lags when in the Gallery. Could probably do with a software update.
Still works, after being repaired, but I have gone back to using an old N73.

Sherry the keypad does have back lighting per the reviews. "The keypad backlighting is controlled through a light sensor in the top right corner above the main display. On bright sunny days it does not even get activated. At night it is decently white and evenly distributed under the entire keypad, except under its very right margins."

Well, I bought it last week and found it a great fone. No complaints like slow processing and key not working etc... resolution is good, sped is perfect and overall looks and style are awesum. But there is just 1 problem which is, it doesnt have key pad lights (lights behing number keys) and thats why it is difficult for you if you are typing sms or chatting in the dark or even calling sum1. Rest is ok...

Tomas, 23 Dec 2008i recently sold my e65 because of its speed. it was very slow...speed...ha! no way! this thing is dual cpu arm 9...its fast fast fast...no delays..,just used a friends e65 and its fast...the 2mpx camera is great and you.ll love it...

É um exelente celular,realmente um pouco lento,mas quando você está jogando ou rodando qualquer aplicativo a memória RAM dele ajuda muito,ele tem mais memória RAM que alguns Nseries como o N76 e o N73.
O Slide é bem firme e o celular é bem robusto.
As fotos são muito boas pra uma câmera de 2 MegaPixels,o que é péssimo é que ele tem um atraso gigante depois que você dispara a foto,vc tem que clicar e depois mirar pro objeto que quiser fotografar de tanto que demora.
O bluetooth dele me parece ser meio ruim de achar novos dispositivos,mas a transferência é bem rápida. O Infravermelho é exelente.
Eu consegui instalar eu usar todos os aplicativos famosos feitos pra N95,menos óbviamente os que necessitam de algum hardware que só o N95 tem.
Exemplo : Irremote,CorePlayer,vBag,Xelnex...e alguns mais,incluindo um aplicativo pra ler Qr code (Datamatrix).
O alto-falante é mal localizado,vc vai demorar até se acostumar a não por a mão em cima dele sempre,mas a qualidade é exelente e bem alto.
No alto da tela ele tem um sensor de luz,que desliga a luz de fundo da tela e do teclado quando percebe que há iluminação ambiante o suficiente pra economizar bateria,eu achei isso inútil logo que ele demora até desligar as luzes e o funcionamento desse sensor tb deve consumir muita bateria.
Não posso esquecer também de citar que ele é 3G e funciona perfeitamente nessa frequencia no Brasil,inclusive faz video-chamadas,mas você só poderá ver a pessoa logo que ele só possui 1 câmera.

just bought this phone. its slow, the positioning of the so called business keys is clumsy and generally its not such a brilliant phone.....who's ready to buy this phone off me please !

An above average phone 4 me but d only problem is the coating of this fone it is easily wiped off and no 2nd cam otherwise a greatfone
