It's also clearly specified in my earlier comment. Complaining about the issues of a third party app, where the phone brand has nothing to do with it, is simply a waste of your own time and energy.

And for the system UI crashing issue, haven't you asked for a replacement or sent them feedback within the warranty period? It's covered by a mandatory warranty, after all.

And do notice the fact that you're complaining for no reason, as most of these can be solved with bare minimum technical knowledge and common sense. It's a sub-$100 phone at the time of launch back in 2022, after all.

Have every single issue that person has it's not fabricated those 3 little tones they're not the connect and disconnect and minute minder tones no it's a design flaw in Nokia sometimes it's fixable by clicking on the volume boost turning it off on but no usually it's not I will say this though it shows up mostly in wi fi calls. It constantly crashes system ui have stopped. The camera app quit working. Out of 18 hours a day I'm awake 12 of them I spent yelling at this phone I too cannot wait to destroy it like I'm not even going to keep it as a backup and you know what sucks is I used to sell Nokia phones I sell Nokia and Motorola phones like they were going out of style if they were ketchup popsicles I could sell them to a woman wearing white gloves they were that good of a piece of equipment they were that good of phones their technology and their durability was amazing now it is crap just like everything Google touches all of it has turned to crap I got a Nokia phone because I used to have faith in Nokia when I lost faith in Motorola after they wrote out with Google I was like let me get a Nokia phone. NEVER AGAIN. That being said I'll never get a Sam song either talk about even bigger pieces of crap. Wish I could take a crap in a box and sell it for 500 dollars because I would and when I did I would put stickers on it that said something like Samsung Motorola Nokia because that's what they are that's what they sell crap. Nothing but electronic feces

Matt, 15 Aug 2023I despise this phone. It has an ugly, unchangeable lock scr... moreWhy so much fabricated frustration to pretend any Samsung is better? I expected a more honest feedback from an American tbh. I've used both brands and I found Nokia to be a better brand comparatively.

The lockscreen clock becomes smaller with unread notifications. A temporary fix I can suggest is to make the display items smaller and increase the font size from display settings. This should reduce the massive clock to a far pleasant-looking clock.

The beeps when connecting, ending and minute minder (I was annoyed by it too) can be disabled via the settings from the default phone app. If the option is removed from the phone app, either update the default phone app, fill in Google's feedback form or put up an app review in the Google Play Store.

If an app closes on exit, turn on developer options and set the number of background processes to 4, instead of the default "standard limit". It's a very simple fix that commenters here complain for no reason. And with the fact that this phone has a promising chipset paired with UFS storage, loading an app takes less than 5 seconds. Long gone are the days where we spent more than 5 minutes to see the home feed being refreshed in the respective social media apps.

The "colour-changing bars" appear to be a bug in Android 12, and will be patched out eventually via software updates.

People visit this website to get a good idea of what they're about to purchase, and not the tantrums of device users, so commenting your niggles with countless solutions at your disposal isn't a good decision for a reputed website.

I despise this phone. It has an ugly, unchangeable lock screen clock, crashes constantly, plays an annoying set of 3 descending tones during calls when it connects so you'll hear them five times in a two minute phone call with no way to turn it off, it's so buggy that sometimes you have to restart the phone because every time you try to open an app it will automatically close, and one time my screen had a total meltdown and and was showing crazy bars of changing colors and I was so mad because I thought my phone was somehow defective only for it to go back to normal later and never do the same thing again. I'm typing this on it right now and my ultimate dream is to one day snap it half and brake it into a million pieces. Get a Samsung instead

Nokia support just told me why my G400 doesn't work in the UK. The G400 was designed for the U.S. market and has limited compatibility with non-U.S. 4G networks. It is a good phone for use in the U.S. but I would not have bought it if I had known it would not work with non-U.S. SIM cards in other countries.

You mean the unlocked version has fewer LTE bands than the T-Mobile version?
That seems oddly true, based on the below, but which of those will actually make a practical difference?:

                          Network bands (GSM):TMO: 850, 900, 1800, 1900; TF/CC/OpenMarket: 850, 900, 1800, 1900
                          Network bands (LTE):TMO: B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B7, B8, B12, B13, B25, B26, B66, B71, B38, B39, B40, B41; TF/CC/OpenMarket: B2, B4, B5, B12, B13, B25, B26, B66, B71, B41

It's $180 unlocked on Amazon now. As far as carried-locked phones being 'free' goes, that's not how it works - the customer ends up paying for the phone with a more expensive plan.

I hate depth , ultrawide and big screen (above 6.0 inch) phones. Really these three specs are totally useless. Instead of those specs the phone companies better to consider the
