Whether it is done by Apple Inc., or someone else. One thing for sure. Any type of notch (hole) in the viewing area is unprofessional. Everyone does it because Apple started the game. Sony mobiles is an exception though Sony too introduced one mobile with a notch. But, they realised their fault later. What's wrong if a mobile gets a minimal head and chin? I think Sony mobiles, ASUS ROG mobiles and the like, doesn't look bad with a head and chin.

The notch stuff maybe is because they try to hide it? No idea, some apps go full, some not, that does not bother me to much. Very rarely tough, that camera in the middle can get annyoing.

It might have something... moreI afraid I returned it and I wasn't trying to demean anyone who still has it , but for me I couldn't live with it, and was upset as I really loved the overall look, feel and build quality of the phone, there is also a certain amount of pride owning a brand like nokia, so it's disappointing when they don't try their best.
The nokia g60 is still a decent phone with a great lcd (I'm a oled eyestrain sufferer) , but if they had put a better speaker, more ram and sorted out the software issues the phone could have been great, and that's what's dissapointing.
One thing I would like to add is why isn't full screen apps (show app in notch area) a basic stock android feature , I mean they introduced stuff like material you, but the notch that has been around for over 6 years now they still don't have this feature as standard (strange).

It could be so easy to just keep G for middle low, C for lowest crapp, X for middle high and turn back to N for their flagships that never come😏. But nope, they decided to take G all over the place and now releassed g22 after relesing g60... They could just peak up another letter for the low end G line. Like A20,21,22 or M or even Q.

Geekbench multi: 2299
But overall, the G73 5G is still a better package than the G60 (putting promised updates to the side).
The reviews so far have commended the screen/display, camera & stereo speakers/fast charge.
The internal storage speeds are quite fast too. (Averaging 900mb read/800mb write).
In the UK, it comes with 8GB ram & 256GB storage as standard, and a TPU case/Charger is included - all for £20 more than the G60 (64gb/4gb ram version).
Although HMD are set to lower the price for the G60 & X30 this month.. I've heard a new model is in the pipeline - possibly a successor to the XR20 or X10/20??

The ui doesn't feel refined
Sometime it feels very quick & fast but sometime it slow down & stutter
Hope it improve with android 13 update but im still waiting for this

Carol, 11 Mar 2023Well, not e erybody needs a jbl boombox in their phones, an... moreIt's the quality of the sound that is the problem ( not the loudness) it too tinny and sounds synthetic and robotic, battery life isn't that bad but coming from a phone that was doing around 12hr SOT, I was a little disappointed in only getting around 6-7 on the nokia. Another thing about the nokia —and I don't know if this is true for other people— is it slowed down and stuttered all the time playing games like, my time in portia, grid and bright memory, which my less powerful motorola g 5g ran perfectly well, but that phone had 6gb of ram, hence why I'm saying 4gb isn't enough, unless something else was causing the stuttering or I had a broken one.

But gets ... moreI don't understand why nokia basically said this phone was futureproof and will help the environment as you won't need to upgrade , but put only 4gb of ram, a small battery and terrible sound, nobody could possibly live with this phone for the 3 years worth of there updates.

6 or 6.1" FH... moreWith so many people demanding oled and boycotting anything that doesn't have one, its getting harder and harder to find a decent phone with a good lcd.
As a oled sufferer it been very unfair (why should we have budget phones)
Besides I think oled affect far more people than they like to admit, as I've heard multiple times that people put on blue light filter in the dark to help with eye strain, but that's not what blue light filter was designed for, it was designed to make your brain more tired by moving the light spectrum to a more red colour in keeping with the time of day.

6 or 6.1" FHD IPS lcd with 120 hz, SD 6 gen1 soc, 5000mAh, headphone jack, 30w charging.
The market is flooded with OLED screens that are bad for our eyes.
