Nokia inadvertently leaks a new S40 QWERTY phone

26 October, 2011

We're just a few hours away from the Nokia World keynote and while preparing for the event Nokia just let one of their unannounced handsets out in plain sight.

The device has a QWERTY keypad and seems to be based on the S40 6th Edition platform. It will have a touchscreen and be part of Nokia's Touch and Type range of handsets, except this one will be the first to have a QWERTY keypad.

Only thing else we know for now is that it will have Wi-Fi and 3G and that red and black will be two of the color options. Rest of the information should be available soon enough, though.

You haven't been on GSMArena before, hmmm? And what's a "good app" anyway? With Symbian you can do pretty much everything a reasonable person needs without any apps, you just get 5-6 you really need and enjoy the real life.
