went yesterday to John Lewis store and I've noticed quite a few people were very interested in Lumia 2520.

Windows 8.1 p... moreYou people do understand that if they had gone with Windows 8.1 and not RT the performance would be much less snappier and responsive and also it would incrrease cost like the surface pro. If they did that they would have to put intel chips on that thing because i dont see the point ofa tablet pc with ARM chips like that of Qualcomm.They would have to go with x86 chips. You know WP and RT are perfect the wau they are the most responsive and fast mobileOS on the market.They just need a ton of apps specified for tabletsand phones like Apple and keep Office for free on RT.

Waiting for Windows 8.1 pro in Nokia tablet.
Windows 8.1 pro can fight all OS and better than all OS in tablet.

Review is cut and pasted from Surface 2 in the video section. Calls out a kickstand and 10.6 screen. I wonder if the audio quality section was as well? Most reviews praise Nokia 2520's speaker quality.

This is a beautiful machine. But until windows 8 bulks up ots app store it is no good for tablets. The point of a tablet is to have access to lots and lots of apps so that every person can make their tablet relevant to themselves. Without apps you can't do that. Therefore any machine with windows 8 does not qualify as a tablet until the windows app store catches up.

They don't document it, and their customer folks say just get a "regular" adapter, which of course won't work. But with the OTG cable connectivity is great. The only things that don't work are legacy devices that Windows 8 doesn't support. See the thread on the Nokia Support site.
