I update My Nokia lumia 510 . Windows 7.8 is not so cool .U can make ringtones via ringer maker only for this song which can gate via Bluetooth. Hike is not so good. Bluetooth share only for picture not for video and music . After updated to 7.8 performance of phone is slow.

no sd card and internal space too low 4gb just fill up instantly compare to samsung android devices b\nokia can no longer compete

very bad phone in nokia lumia range...i think in lumai 810 is good in lumia series... remaining all lumil models are flop.......

No external memory slot. One has to rely on internal memory or internet. It's one of worse feature of this mobile

how can i browse the phone memory thru my pc..i plug it already but the pc said it did not installed properly..there is no software included so i thought its plug nd play...pls help......

utkarsh, 23 Dec 2012brother what about display quality as it hs only 65k colour... more65k colors are ok for videos (not much noticable) but the gradient is visible in photos .
So ,I have to choose those photos for lockscreen in which gradients are less visible.
But in all the display looks much better than galaxy ace duos of one of my friend which is costlier than this as lumia 510 has 800x480 px resolution as compared to 480x320 px resolution of galaxy ace duos

I purchased Nolia Lumia 510 recently; I found it reasonable in terms of feature provided in 10k price.
Camera and Video quality is very good but no flash light.
Inter surfing is quite good and user friendly since screen is 4". Some draws back are like memory and flash light. Touch screen is very good.

To copy an office file , pdf file , ppt etc u have two options -
1 - Upload the files to skydrive from your computer and then download them using your phone (Simple way)
2nd way
For this to work u need to connect your phone and computer through data cable or wifi (by making computer as hotspot or by using internet sharing option in your phone)
a) Download HFS (HTTP File Server) ( http://www.rejetto.com/hfs )
b) Open HFS , disable the firewall of your antivirus on your pc .
c) Drag the folder (containing the files you want to copy)to HFS (use real folder option when prompted for the type of folder)
d) open the URL given in HFS on your phone using Internet Explorer and open the doc , ppt file .
When the file is opened on phone use save to phone option in menu at the bottom .
You can use the same way to play video files from your pc on your phone (if phone supports the video format)

well just got it a couple of days ago to be honest didnt think much of it at start then it grew on me its a really cool phone thought its a 10k phone it gives u a feeling of a phone worth 18-20k features to be noticed r
* 4" display
* 5 mp camera
*audio output is awesome (sure wit a third party headset)
*smooth performance
well tats about it its a steep slope down from there
* camera lacks flash
* only vga video recording
*no memory expansion
*user available only 2.8gb
*few apps
*almost all useful apps r paid apps (free only for trial)
*gud only for basic gaming
well apart from tat any doubts pls ask away

Lumia 510 is far better than budget Galaxy Y, L510 is 4 inch display with 233 ppi, G Y is smal 2.8 display with only 125 ppi.
