i already downloaded .docx files...
i can play video files from facebook...
and in youtube? i can Play a radio streaming mp4 format..
this is amazing phone..
i already play .mp3 files from an application downloader...
..

I have this phone and i loved it when it had wp 7.5 os and now i love it even more after installing wp 7.8 , start screen is great in wp 7.8.
Most the things you mentioned here are just bullshit.
>>No file manager (expected from typical OS)
It would be great if it was present , but i dont think there is much use for it as all respective files (photos , music etc) are transferred to the respective hubs.
>>No UNICODE font support (cannot read Indian languages)
yes this feature should have been present
>>No Bluetooth File Sharing
After updating WP 7.8 u get bt file sharing
>>No easy phonebook access.
how hard is it to click on the phone tile , even in android u have to click on the phonebook icon
>> The search button puts me on Bing, where as phone I expect priority for phonebook
why would microsoft do that only for one person , others prefer to search on internet by clicking search. by the way to search in phonebook an app called truedialer is available.

i dont know what it means , i think u mean searching by phone number (install truedialer)

you wont get led flash at this price range even on android if u go for good brands

it supports the hotspot type of wifi and not adhoc,similiar to android devices

an alternate to transfer files is available (by using an http file server)

why would you need that , all contacts get automatically synced to windows live account . (you can login to your hotmail account on computer and then click on people to see all the contacts of your phone)
you have to have an internet connection though.
>>No dedicated document close tap, if press back may chances that your undesired changes get saved in Word / Excel
it asks if you want to confirm the changes or not
>>No way to produce PowerPoint Presentation, at least flat slides with some standard slide transitions
I dont think anybody would use phone for producing powerpoint presentations or even for word files or spreadsheets , as these apps in phones have very limited functionality as compared to full office in computer . These options area only given so you can edit and make minor changes etc .
But it is pretty cool that WP provides office right out of the box while android does not and office app is definately better than any office app present in android.

because wp7.5 does not support memory expansion , while wp8 does .

Dear frnds, dont buy this phone.no memory cord,no bluthooth,i dont know even how to make song as a ringtone.i dont know how to connect computer for internet with this phone.not possible to record get in to phone.everyting with sky drive.reply anyone know answers for above douts.
