This is a amazing phone!
Good:
The user interface is amazing so fast easy to use takes no time to pick it up.
Bing! its just WOW! A new nice picture makes a nice change from the normal Google logo
Picture search: scan qr+standard barcodes, microsoft tags, translate text via picture and take a picture of a album cover and it will give you the details.
Voice search: Talk to search
Music search: listen to a song find it for you.
Scout: Find local places to eat (over 20 in my small town all found!)
Xbox good selection of games all play smoothly and lots of try before you buy.
Zune works amazingly easy to use and very bueatiful. (includes wireless sync when phone is charging and you have left the computer where its registered on!)
People! Nice intergration of social networks.
Microsoft office very handy good for keeping notes.
Nokia extras!
Nokia music/mix radio is a great feature up to date music for free! I like it!
Nokia drive excellent app got me to where i need to be! (did eat my battery though, fairly heavy use and 2 hours worth of navigation)
BAD:
I find battery life poor but it does last a day! (i came from a old nokia lasted for days) Soon got used to charging it every night.
Syncing email/social networks ect, Took me a while to set up syncing the way i liked it but achived what i wanted (other than multiple gmail calendars)
Calendar is ok (does everything you need) but i really miss the nokia calendar from the symbian smart phone so much easier to use.
Keyboard i have had this phone for a few months and dont get on to well with the keyboard though i think its me (used to physical qwerty) i hit every letter than the one i want and prediction doesnt seem to get every word (even though spelt correctly)
Missing a torch app, This should be standard! not a marketplace extra!

Anyone know when is the tango update coming yo india . It is olrdy released in other countries like china, uk . Nd it ll support wifi tethering it is confirmed.

U are 100% sure with the mp3 case? i've tried in many rounds and it doesn't work.
i have other problem so pls HELP! - my bluetooth doesn't connect to other devices, my Lumia says: not supported (!) WHY? Tks a lot guys!

I have just bought Nokia Lumia 710. I have downloaded Amazon kindle and was trying to download a free book from amazon. But I am unable to do so. Please tell me what is the process of downloading the books on nokia lumia 710. Any help would be appreciated.

AnonD-56465, 27 May 2012how can i set an mp3/4 as ma ringtone?? cn anybdy guide me ... moreUm violet u cnt set mp4 as ringtone.But to put mp3 as ringtone u need to make ur mp3 file within 1 mb and less than 30 seconds.To do it i hope u have a windows movie maker software on ur pc.Just pik the favourite part of that song,cut it from original song and save in ur pc in a folder only.Then add that folder in the collection tile in ur zune software on pc.Search for that song,1ce u got it right click on it,press edit and then set genre to ringtone,save it,drop that file on to ur phone icon and its done.Ul c dat file in ringtons.Cheers!

What about our phonebook data in our previous symbian phone? Can we just send them through bluetooth to nokia windows phone?

boboho, 25 May 2012is the nokia 710 has organizer, to make some reminder, note... moreYes! u can set reminders, schedule meetings & best thing is u ll have an option where phone asks for people who are going to attend.. once u enter the name( provided they are in ur contact list) phone will send an meeting email to those ppl... if u cancel it or postponed?prepone then also they will be informed automatically...
You can also schedule all reminders from ur pc with the help of google/windows live calender & ur phone gets all the info & displays in ur phone

i like this phone...it's great wp7 if compare with android phone...battery life is batter than android phone...easy transfer file using pc if u know how to use 'ZUNE SOFTWARE' by microsoft...smooth touch screen...fast processor 1.4ghz even single core...easy to update any software..saving space...saving money to buy it..

things which you'll not get:
1. no directory access, everything has to be done through ZUNE or Windows Live SKYDRIVE.
2. no internet sharing. (not to worry about it though, will come with next update)
things you'll love:
1. X-box live, you can try every awesome game before purchasing. :D
2. Awesome social network integration.
3. Awesome GUI, overall experience is so great.
4. Very Awesome keyboard!!
5. Battery life is good(not awesome), will last a whole day easily.
And for those who think android is great, try comparing the first version of android with first version of WP7!!
