1. No way to back up SMS.
2. No way to send SMS from PC
3. Lacks PC suite all dependcy on Zune that can work for Music Audio / Video only
4. Cant sync Contacts with PC directly
5. Bluetooth cant transfer files to other Mobiles
6. For ringtones files have to be of fixed Size and fixed duration

But the cache is that, if your phone is in offline mode or data connection is not there Nokia Drive will not open. And Nokia maps is completely online version.
I agree for Symbian. No OS gives that much amount of freedom.
I will say that all the high-end features are very good but it lacks in the basic features.

I have being using this phone for over a week now. The phone is really awesome when it comes to handle the business features,internet etc. It has got good call quality, nice music sound, very good screen.
But it fails badly on the basic features.
1. You cannot set your favourite song as ringtone.
2. The camera is good. But the button is really hard.
3. Does not have equalizer in music player.
4. Battery backup is very bad. Only 10-12 hours support.
5. Symbian fans should keep in mind that there is no offline maps. You need to have online data connection to use the map. Nokia map and drive are note even 50% of what is there in symbian. Actually there is no good map available for this phone.
6. Bluetooth connectivity is out of my mind.

The thing really missing is mass storage and BT file transfers. if you are more interested in UI this is great phone, for functionality there is no OS which even comes close to Symbian

Hi,
Lumia 710 is a good phone no doubt. But I thing front camera and micro card is a limitation of this phone. After spending much amount also, these facilities are not provided in this phone.

Special Features: Superb touch experience. Awesum apps.
Shortcumings: no bluetooth, no modem inbuilt, u cant mark items, msg, contats.
You cant segrate calls nd msg as incuming/outgoing/draft etc. No details call duration, battry back up 15-20hrs. I knw it is smart phne. Its awesum mob wid high speed net nd office work facility. Lumia is 4 busines clas people who use mob only 4 net nd office wrk. Music quality is nt good enough.
