i have been using the phone for the past four and to say the least, its an amazing and affordable phone worth the price tag...
Wanted to ask one thing, if i update it to 7.8 will i lose my current data and applications?

Anonymous, 17 Feb 2013same problem. Some new Lumia 710's are coming with 7.8 ver ... morebut for me now Bluetooth doesn't matter I've already used this phone 8 month without bt so i can wait for more time till then i'll buy new iphone 5 or 5s :D as far now i m happy with lumia 710 with new tiles :)

"your phone is up to date
Current Phone software version is 7.10(8779)"

it is a great phone the only ting i do not like is the windows os its quite had to get around quite confusing but once i get my hands on it i will work with it.

Try updating it via zune it may work else u gotta search for a NOKIA CARE CENTRE at any cost and get ot done there for free

I had one of these when I was with T-Mobile, I absolutely loved it! Then my family switched to Verizon and we all got Droid Bionics. I miss my Nokia though, it was a good size, and I loved the OS. My Bionic feels like a brick xD

the prblm is it starts on its o... moreOk bro u gotta understand that u can't charge your phone with switch off mode.It will turn on once u put it ti charge even if u have switched it off.
Now to see the battery status just go to settings there press battery saver and see ur battery % that's it.

i jst got my new LUMIA 710
the prblm is it starts on its own whn i chrge it in switch off mode
and it never shows tht my battry is full like other mobiles
wht shud i do
i have already replaced my phone once
